Deduction game GNOSIA started life on PS Vita all the way back in 2019, but has been ported to various platforms since, including the PS5 and PS4. And now it’s getting an anime adaptation, courtesy of Sony subsidiary Aniplex.
You can watch a trailer below:
The series, scheduled to air 2025 in Japan, appears to retain the painterly art style of the game, so you can expect this to look absolutely stunning. There’s obviously no word of a localisation just yet, but we wouldn’t be surprised if this eventually ended up streaming on Crunchyroll.
While some aspects of the game’s localisation did attract criticism, it’s still a highly recommended experience, attracting a Metacritic rating of 82. If you haven’t played this one yet, we’d suggest you add it to your wishlist and give it a spin prior to the anime coming out.

I've bought this one day one on Xbox and haven't played it yet. 😅
This is the first time i hear about the game
Still on my wishlist, but not on offer atm
Could be cool. The game is fantastic. Genuinely never played anything even remotely like it, which becomes quite rare as you continue playing games over time. I'd love to see the anime expand on the fascinating worldbuilding hinted at throughout the various gameplay loops as you learn more about the characters.
