£75 for a standard controller (not an edge) is truly insane

After GAME messed up my Astro bot pad order, I will not feel aggrieved at buying this pad. And I’ll definitely buy it from PlayStation Direct.

So crazy how Sony had a Concord themed controller before a Helldivers controller. They really thought Concord was going to be their biggest hit ever

Not at all. Paid that for my 30th anniversary one and was happy to.
Standard colours are £65 @Argos. £10 uplift for a special edition is not even close to insane - I'm not sure you know what the word means.
Shop around and you can get standard black ones in the sales for £40 if money's tight.

This particular design is not to my taste, but I can see it appealing to many. Choice is always good.

Man this is beyond disappointing I was expecting something truly special for this controller. Every special edition so far besides the astro bot has been a basic controller colour that already exists with accents on it. They can go crazy with these if they wanted and decide not to but still charge you up the ass for it. It could of been a really cool dark grey with yellow buttons and helldivers symbols over the buttons and stuff. They could of even made the dpad more aligned with how you summon strats. This is very lazy and disappointing.

I predicted that it would have the skull on the middle sense button but man that's so rubbish they could have made it the whole skull across it

Meh. Doesn't look good enough for a purchase. I have the 30th Anniversary edition, Spider-Man 2, Hogwarts Legacy, and Volcanic Red. Will save my $ for the Chroma Teal.

Sadly these game themed controllers aren't as imaginative has I would have hoped. The custom ones you can buy off different sites tend to look better by comparison. The next controller I planned to get from the official PlayStation controller lineup is the Chroma Teal which I think looks pretty cool.

Controller seems kinda generic? So did the GoW one to be fair. Sony kinda dropping the ball on special controllers and consoles this gen, I mean the 30th anniversary one is cool but it's been done before, ironically the coolest looking controllers they've brought out have been spiderman and ironically the concord ones. The rest just seem kinda bland to me.
