Too much gacha? Nah, you can never get enough gacha, in our humble opinion. Kuro Games has released a new trailer for Wuthering Waves at The Game Awards, showcasing more of the new region being added as part of v2.0, which will launch simultaneously alongside the game on the PS5, from 2nd January.
While the trailer isn’t particularly long, it does give you a good idea of what to expect from the title if you’re not familiar with it – namely, stunning vistas, larger-than-life character action combat, and proper nouns. So, so, so many proper nouns.
Will you be playing this one when it launches on the PS5 at all?

Looking forward to the ps5 release.
I already play the game on PC and mobile, the gacha aspect is one of better handled ones, the "limited" availability time of each banner is fairly long, giving an active player plenty of time to get enough currency to guarantee obtaining the featured character (5-star guaranteed within 70 draws, 2nd 5-star guaranteed to be fearured, so max of 140 draws needed).
The game is for the most part very similar to genshin impact, however the combat feels much more fluid.
@get2sammyb Have you played this one much, Sammy? Interested to know if it's worth a go, especially for someone who's already invested in Genshin and Honkai.
@get2sammyb really looking forward to this one on PS5, also do you have plans to do a review for Infinity Nikki that came out very recently?
@Jake3103 I'm not Sammy but I think it's excellent. FYI I play Genshin and HSR too. (I dropped ZZZ)
It's very close to Genshin in terms of gameplay, world exploration etc. the main difference is the combat which is far more skill based. If you like Genshin you will likely like WuWa
Another one to Skip
@themightyant Funny you say that, because I skipped Genshin because of it's low skill ceiling. WuWa is more of my speed, so I'm definitely jumping in when this arrives.
@Jake3103
All the limited event content is very procrastination-friendly, no content dead-locks like a certain game I still play to date. However when Rinascita drops, I hope they keep it that way~
@themightyant
Yesterday's event last two stages was something alright~ Brute forced, gave up and told myself sweaty/skill issue then call it a day 🧂🧘
