Sony has confirmed that the annual PlayStation Wrap-Up will become available very soon.
Each December, PS5 and PS4 players can login online and get their very own PlayStation Wrap-Up, providing all sorts of fun stats and information about your gaming habits and achievements for the year.
From 10th December, you'll be able to get your Wrap-Up for 2024, as revealed on the official PlayStation website.
This is always a lot of fun to look through. The Wrap-Up usually includes stats such as total time spent playing, your most played games of the year, how many Trophies you earned, and so on.
It's a great way to cap off the year, so we're very much looking forward to our own Wrap-Ups when they become available next week.
Are you excited to see what your year of PlayStation gaming looks like? Take a guess at your total hours played in the comments section below.

Love the Wrap-Up, just a shame PS3 and Vita games aren't included in any way
Playstation Wrap-Up > Spotify Wrap-up!
Love these yearly wrap-ups. Got the Xbox one yesterday since I actually used the series X this year (451 hrs). Will be interesting to see the combined hours spent gaming this year. Last year was 1127 just for the PS5. I never even bothered checking the Xbox last year. Maybe a couple of hours it had. 😂
My yearly reminder that I should probably leave the house more

Wouldn't it be cool if this could be available from the PS5 console menu?
P.S. I guess my most played game of 2024 will be Vampire Survivors.
I'm assuming my most played are going to be between Trails through Daybreak, Stellar Blade, or Metaphor. Maybe FF7 Rebirth as well.
Always fun to take stock of all that you did in the past year!
Love the playstation wrapped. I can usually tell what my most played game is going to be (this year it's easily FF7: rebirth) but some of the other top 5 end up being quite a surprise. Although I'm expecting Astro bot and Helldivers 2 to make an appearance
Pretty sure I know my most played games this year. Sekiro, TLOU Part 2, and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. I had a great gaming year. Looking forward to seeing the wrap-up
@Nexozi
Out of interest why the Xbox increase this year to 451 hours any particular games.
My Xbox wrap up might be better in terms of the type of games played, but we shall see
Interesting how they have gone for the classic: Circle, Triangle, Square, Plus Sign (tilted X) design 🤔 we all know they want to be PlayStation, but come on, now 😛
PS Wrap up always cool. My Asia account pretty much will be dominate by SF6, but my US account will be mixed between Gungrave Gore, Dragon Blaze, Tengai, and Vampire Survivors.
The moment of shame arrives. I will do it all again.
How do people rack up such high amounts of game time. I could never reach those heights. I run a business in the day and have other adulting things that take up my time I guess.
Are these people adults that work or a younger generation with time on their hands?
Just curious 🙂
Probably a reminder that all I've been playing is Vampire Survivors. For shame.
Really proud of all the time I spent playing VR games, though. Some truly amazing experiences.
Not sure I'll beat my score of 13 hours from last year.
@Bagwag82 a lot of them are younger, others don't have a family or a partner, so they game most of the time they're not at work. Some do have a family/partner but don't spend much quality time together. It depends.
I am almost certain my top 3 will be:
1. Astro Bot
2. Dave the Diver
3. Rebirth
Though I’m not sure what my Erdtree hours were, so that may sneak up there too. My son skyrocketed Astro Bot to being my #2 most played PlayStation game in the lifetime of my PSN this year. The gaming habits of children…
Man, my Xbox one yesterday was sad:
1. Guitar Hero 3
2. MLB the Show 2024 of all things
3. Palworld
All under 10 hours…
And Spotify Wrapped made me feel old. I’m clearly Frank Black and the Catholic’s biggest fan in the world, I suppose. I did a backlog binge in preparation for the Pixies album and three of my top five artists are Frank Black. My wife and I share a Spotify too, so the top tracks of 2024 look funny. They go like:
1. Frank Black
2. Frank Black
3. Frank Black
4. Twee acoustic guitar lady
5. Frank Black over and over
I know it’s off topic, but shoot… end of the year lists are the best…
@OldGamer999 Started doing the MS reward points again with the news that COD was going to be on GPU from day one. Mostly been playing Forza Motorsport. Its far better than it was when it first released. Thought GT7 is better. Though have played some random games as well to get the achievements for the monthly 1000 MS reward points.
Why do they do a wrap up in December? Does it include last December or does your December gaming end up in a void feeding the PlayStation monster who will come.and devour us all before the PS6 arrives?
@Bagwag82 I'm old, work full time and have no kids. Couple of hours a night and more over the weekends with a few beers and it soon adds up.
@Bagwag82 Introversion vs Extroversion is one aspect I think. Some people’s idea of relaxation is sitting in front of the TV/Playstation for some quiet time. For others it is being out and about socialising. When I talk to my extroverted friends about their standard evening/weekend plans they sound exhausting to me and I imagine my ideal weekend of chilling at home with the wife sounds boring as hell to them. Different strokes for different folks and all that!
Got mine from Xbox yesterday 607 hours spent (not bad). I wonder how many hours I spent with Helldivers 2 and few other games I played on PS5
@Enigk I was just thinking this exact thing when I was sifting through my Spotify
@daveofduncan Hell no. I love gaming, but not enough to learn how to make them myself, unlike music.
Exellent, our yearly reminder that corporations collect and store everything we do online and know exactly who we are and what we get up to. I am just glad there isn't a Google Wrapped to show me how much of a piece of sh*t I really am...lol...
Will Diablo 4 have displaced ESO as my usual time-killer?
Miss the days when we used to get a free theme with the wrap up.
Mine will probably be dominated by the inflated 400 hours it says I played FF7 Rebirth.
So I have 5 more days to get one more platinum XD
@DonkeyFantasy Can't beat it and long may it continue!
@Loamy I enjoy playing music, understanding music, writing music, and getting paid to play it, so yeah, it counts.
Hopefully numbers are accurate. Think I have 4 different games I played for over 100 hours. FF7Rebirth, Metaphor, Balatro, and Infinite Wealth. Honestly it might hit 5 by the end of the year with PoE2 and some vacation time coming up

Last year, my time spending playing on my PS4 was shameful. I think i only played a few hours of God of War Ragnarok and that's it. I was playing too much on PC. This year it's the opposite (thankfully). I'm pretty sure the game i played the most was Elden Ring on my PS5, since i decided to start a whole new save just to play the DLC. My total time with that game today is +450h. And after that, is probably Rebirth and then either Risk of Rain 2 or Banishers
My wrap up last year was entertaining.
"You need to play your PS5 for more than 10 hours this year".
Hopefully, we get more granular data, like, I don't know - maybe how much time you spent in menus, how many deaths if applicable, how many games "beaten," most out of the norm game. Genre, time, and trophies are cool and all, but they've definitely got some strange data entries on all of us. It'd be cool to share some of that.
Played the Yakuza series from 0 thru to infinite wealth this year (still playing this one) so I expect my wrap-up to be very much Yakuza based with a spattering of katamari damancy, bit of vr stuff and astrobot 😅
My top 5 should be in no order:
Sekiro | FF7 Rebirth | LAD: Infinite Wealth | Metaphor Re:Fantazio | Persona 3 Reload
With shout outs to Ace Attorney & Stellar Blade
Will be fair to see. I already beat 22 or so (I know it's early 20s but lost count still) probably games across Wii, PS2 and 360 this year. 1 on Switch and the rest being PS4/Xbox/PS3/360 pickups besides the PS2/Wii ones picked up and beat the same year depending on which as some were a easy experience others not. Some 100% too of course, others not so and just story ending and calling it there.
So the handful of times I used my PS4 will be great to see....... XD My PS3 isn't linked to that account it's local so only PS4 & Vita will be counted for that account and it only shows PS4/5 games so..... thanks Sony. Xbox One same thing local on 360 so 360/One games on my Xbox One it is then. Never looked up my Xbox wrap up last year, maybe forget this year as well.
Last years was fair, made a video recording to remember and it reflected what I played that year of the handful of times I used my PS4 for fair games of certain amount of time. Some I beat, some 2022/2023, some I still have yet to finish in 2024 as had other pickups of course. XD
What my times playing the Clannad visual novel for about 3-4 hours over a few days and that's even just for 2 routes and the other 2 starting and that's in the last month I got it.
A whole lot of pickups I've 'started' a fair amount through this year and progressed a fair amount into any of them. For a few dollars you know it's easy to say, tested, played a bit move onto whatever else I was already completing.
The others I maybe finished and don't remember. But most were PS3/360 era shooters like Blackside Area 51, Soldier of Fortune Payback, Bodycount, Wanted movie game, Socom 4 in 3D, Splintercell Conviction, near beat Turning Point Fall of Liberty but was so annoying for an hour to get past the last (at least in the video) ten minutes I gave up, beat most of the game I'm satisfied (I own all Spark games so you know, should get further through Ninja Gaiden Z though then chapter 3).
PS2 platformers like Malice or Chicken Little 1st movie game (not the 2nd one). Wii it was or is close with NFS Hot Pursuit (even though started the remaster/360 version before that but got really into the Wii version) and beat story of Up movie game.
I mean it's always nice to see the wrap ups but yeah I just barely care. My Xbox One related one is probably even worse, just 360 games like MX vs ATV Reflex (nope that'd be 360 as the BC wasn't working on Xbox One at the time so beat it on 360 instead)....... what did I play on my Xbox One this year...... open the YT app on my PS4/Xbox One enough times, the media player for blu-rays.........
Started a bunch of games, played on and off......
My Switch same thing, pickups and only beat Splatoon 2 earlier in 2024, otherwise not a lot finished but more started or progressed fair into and dropped off not because hated just felt like playing other things to contribute to the old gen consoles and make up the 20+ I played.
@Loamy Right. It's the internet. Joking and ribbing strangers doesn't really come off like it would when hanging with buddies, you know? I mostly take this stuff at face value.
I apologise if my reaction was OTT 😥
I have no doubt my most played games of the year at least on Sony hardware is Call of The Wild: The Angler on PS4/PS5 followed by The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak!
@Bagwag82 there’s also a large group of adults who just don’t want to work anymore. They do what they have to just to get by and chill the rest.
I'm predicting Yugioh Master Duel, MK1 and Diablo 4 being my most played.
@Ravix that looks awful, is this how xbox do it these days? Hahaha
Playstation seem to put alot of effort into their wrap up menus.
On note, I always enjoy the wrap up, 99% of the time you know what you've spent the most time with, but that 1 % is the best part
My Spotify wrapped contained zero surprises (ween and pallbearer, occasional King Crimson and The Smile) so maybe this might change things up!
I suspect mine will be Binding Of Isaac this year - idly fired it up again in the summer and couldn't stop playing it for weeks! Not the first that's happened either with that game.

Woah, trying to anticipate my Sony "report card" just made me realize how little I played Playstation this year! I'll be curious to see my results. I think I played about 14 hours of Elden Ring back in January and maybe 4 hours of Timesplitters 2. My youngest son played a few games like Spiderman and Ratchet and Clank.
This year was the least gaming I've ever done and most of it was on Switch and Steam Deck.
EDIT: Just remembered I played a little Bloodborne for the first time as well. Maybe 6 hours? Really didn't care for it, despite loving other FromSoftware games (especially DS3).
