GTA 6, which industry money-types are predicting will kick off some unprecedented economic orgy of game consumption, is having a fascinating effect on people. In a sign of the trapped state in which the industry finds itself, others "hope" the quality and quantity of Rockstar's next will be such that the price of AAA video games can finally rise as high as $100, or your local equivalent.

With the official reveal of GTA 6 now over a year old, it's putting it mildly to say fans are hungry for more. According to one relatively sane theory, you can expect another trailer on 30th January 2025, next Thursday. Account GTA6Plus and hopeful onlookers are convinced Rockstar is several bizarre steps ahead.

The conspiratorial web begins with Rockstar's reveal of the Vapid Dominator GT muscle car, which GTA+ subscribers can look forward to enjoying (thanks, TheGamer). The car itself is an irrelevant afterthought, a vehicle (heh) by which the developer signals (via numbers on a container in the background) when fans can expect to see a new trailer.

Together, these numbers (allegedly) indicate a #2 trailer release date of 30th January. Still not convinced, huh? Alright then, Rockstar super-fan, consider that previously, the firm released trailers for GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 on 31st January 2013 and 1st February 2018, respectively. Both Thursdays. Guess what day of the week 30th January falls on in 2025? We'll allow a moment to collect the shattered pieces of your mind.

We love this prediction and hope it's proven true; thankfully, we don't have long to wait. We'll see you all back here next Thursday for that new GTA trailer, eh? What do you think of the numbers? Do they *have* to mean something? Let us know in the comments section below.
