GTA 6 Fans Have Convinced Themselves Rockstar's Teasing Another Trailer

You know, you don't need to report on every unsubstantiated rumor or conspiracy.

Why is this even news? Can you just stick with the higher standard news and reporting that we used to expect from this site?

I really wish we can block some of your staffs so I don't need to read unsubstantiated rumours like a cheap tabloid gossip, that's not what I'm here for.

That Phantom Blade Zero trailer is f*ckin lit.

Why the f*** do gamers keep thinking marketing teams are cryptically hinting towards every trailer/event drop?

Here's some advice, gamers: marketing is a serious job ran by serious people who want their materials to be seen by as many potential customers as possible. If a company wants you to know about an upcoming trailer, you'll know. They aren't going to drop random hints in innocuous tweets. More than likely — especially for studios as big as R* — the person running social media pages isn't even in direct contact with those making marketing materials.

Reality is a lot less magical than you think it is.

Right just stop it - I dont know anything, you definitely dont know anything (the people making these theories that is)... The trailer will land when it lands 🙂

@RoomWithaMoose 1st trailer date was promoted like that on GTA Online T-shirt "One day will reveal it all". So if you dont care about it doesnt mean it couldnt happen. And why not have some silly fun while waiting for something to happen? You are tired of that? Then skip past GTA6 posts

I will NEVER pay £100 for any game. Daylight robbery, pure greed, and shows total contempt for gamers.

Go to the location the picture is taken and you can find the same numbers. GTA 5 predicted GTA 6 second trailer omg

@REALAIS 99% sure the t-shirt with 100 numbers on it that happened to have a sequence corresponding to a date that likely wasn't internally decided upon when the shirt was released was not a tease.

It was just a shirt with numbers. That the shirt only really got attention after the trailer dropped is more evidence of that; the marketing department did not go to the asset designer and tell them to make this cosmetic — meant to keep player engagement up — specifically to be SO cryptic about a trailer that no one even noticed.

Again, reality is less magical than you think it is.

Not necessarily that day but I think GTA6 news will be next week. It's the week before Take Two's earnings call and investors will want to know if GTA6 is still on track for Fall 2025 release. It would also explain somewhat the odd timing of the Switch 2 reveal.

I waited long time for the next GTA6 trailer and all I got was this lousy t-shirt 👕.

@breakneck Trust me, they don't report on all of the rumors or skepticism. The GTA 6 reddit has so many crazy theories that it's turned into a cult-like subreddit now.
