We awarded the excellent Metaphor: ReFantazio an enviable #2 ranking in Push Square's official Game of the Year top 10, and it really is very good. Fittingly, an accompanying Future Press hardback strategy guide has been in the works and is now available for pre-order. It's expected to ship at the end of February.
Collectors know Future Press is the gold standard in strategy guide publishing, and this 592-page beast comes with a complete walkthrough for the lengthy game, detailing every enemy, boss, skill, item, Archetype, and conversation of import. It even comes with a physical map of the Kingdom of Euchronia, so you can get into character and plan out your various movements if you like.
At 49,99 € (around $51, or £41), this is in line with the pub's previous work, like the excellent Elden Ring trilogy of guides, which have a place of pride in this scribe's library. It's even 10% off via Amazon, so if you covet these sorts of things, don't complain if they sell out.

I had only finished the second main area when I heard about this. I immediately switched over to Persona 3 Reload and preordered
Yeah I don't know seems silly to buy such a tome for a beta.
@LikelySatan You don't have to buy it for your significant other, you can buy it for yourself.
@tselliot I did not realize you are also a dad.
I love a strategy guide, kinda like a collectors piece. I've been sad they've kinda stopped coming out largely, as we move to online wiki's. Just ordered mine. Still at the start of the game so I'll hold off for now and carry on with P3R.
How pointless. Waste of paper with all the answers on the internet. Shameful if you ask me.
@Yakito1988 Why its probably even more detailed ill take this over the internet any day.
@LikelySatan Are you saying this because you think it's inevitable that they'll release a "Royal" version, i.e., Persona 5? Metaphor is on my wishlist, but I have so many other backlog games to get through first that I'm hoping they announce the Royal version before I get to it - if it is indeed going to happen.
I'm also hopeful that a re-release wouldn't require two playthroughs for the Platinum - I know P5 Royal had an easier trophy list than the original game - but who knows.
Whenever I preorder stuff like this, I find I couldn't care less about the thing by the time it eventually comes. Well, more like it's gone from my main spare time focus and passion to something I warmly remember but stopped engaging with ages ago. Happened with a few Nier books, happened with FFVII Remake Material Ultimania Plus, happened with the second of those Elden Ring guides, and many more instances.
I read one of these books and that's it. One's still in the shrinkwrap. 🤦
