Another game based on the eternally dumb Angry Video Game Nerd series is incoming on PS5 and PS4.
This time, the Nerd's going full NES, starring in an 8-bit adventure suitably titled Angry Video Game Nerd 8-bit. It's described as a "new, sinister universe filled with platforming levels, classic AVGN enemies, and nonlinear level design".
The last AVGN game to arrive on PlayStation platforms was Angry Video Game Nerd I & II Deluxe, back in 2021. It got decent reviews and fans seemed to really enjoy it — so here's hoping that 8-bit is similarly well received.

Looks like a fun time, and I'm glad it's coming to the usual modern hardware.
The NES cart is really cool but since LRG is doing it, people will get their cart by 2029.

I was surprised how decent the other AVGN platformers were, and this looks to continue that trend.
Very fun how many NES and Game Boy cartridges have been releasing the last few years, too.
We live in a world where the NES is still getting more support than the Wii U.
In actually very keen for this one for my nes but shipping costs and these limited run games getting them into Australia is stupid expensive might be a case of buying it for switch instead and using my everdrive
