As the PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium game lineups for February 2025 go live, Sony has also announced via the Last Chance to Play section of the service on PS5 what's leaving next month. There are 10 PS5, PS4 titles set to depart on Tuesday, 18th March 2025, and they are:
- Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 6 (PS5, PS4)
- Resident Evil 3 (PS5, PS4)
- Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot (PS5, PS4)
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy (PS4)
- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R (PS5, PS4)
- Life Is Strange 2 (PS4)
- Life Is Strange: True Colors (PS5, PS4)
- Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (PS4)
- Street Fighter V (PS4)
- Mortal Kombat 11 (PS5, PS4)

Once their expiry date arrives next month, you won't be able to play any of these games via the PS Plus service anymore — even if you've downloaded or redeemed them. You'll need to buy a copy to continue playing.
The good thing about this list is none of the PS5, PS4 titles are of any real length. The longest game here is Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, at around 25 hours for the main story. A lot of other games, like Resident Evil 3 and the two Life Is Strange entries, can be completed inside 10 hours. Therefore, even though they're leaving in a month, you still have plenty of time to get around to them if they're in your backlog.
Will you be moving any of these PS5, PS4 games to the front of your videogame queue? Let us know in the comments below.

Title got me worried they’re finally removing ps1, 2 and portable classics.
Monster Hunter Energy Supercross was how I read the first one. Is Monster still suing everyone under the sun or did they finally take the L?
I didn't know Phoenix Wright was on there, gonna play that before it's gone.
Nothing of any real concern for me on that list
Phoenix Wright and resident evil 3 have both been downloaded sitting on my system for almost a year now without every starting either. Not sure I'll bother with either to be honest.
There such an imbalance in quality of games being added and removed. Slowly (or rather quite fast) the service is losing more and more of its value.
I'm currently playing:
So this is really concerning for me.
Sucks for MK, great game. Probably will revisit quickly RE3, but it's not that concerning. Slowly all the RE games are disappearing..
@Member_the_game eGGzactly!
Had res 3 downloaded forever,is it worth even bothering with it before it gets locked?
@Czar_Khastik very concerning... indeed 🤣
@Anthony_Daniels yes and its shorter than than the other games. Can easily complete it in time. I enjoyed it alot.
@Czar_Khastik best get out there and get a couple more consoles and couple more PS portals so you can play 3 or 4 games at the same time!
I might try to knock out either Resi 3 or Dragonball Z before Monster Hunter comes out.
Curious to see how SF5 behaves - I bought the Arcade Edition (which was base game plus DLC codes) years ago.
Not that I ever play it, SF6 is leagues ahead of it.
I’m fairly new to PS Plus and have a huge backlog. It doesn’t help that I’m a slow gamer and losing what gaming reflexes I once had…
…Just wondering if there’s a fairly typical time period games tend to stay on the service?…six months, a year, longer? And do first party games (God of War, etc) tend to stay on the service longer/for good or do Sony rotate them off the service as well?Thanks.
@bindiana @ZeD I appreciate your support, I'm on it as we speak! I even managed to enable my PS Vita and Vita TV remote play since there is a shortage of PS Portals in my area.
@Feffster It's all down to licencing. First party games tend to stay for a year+ whereas you can reasonably expect third party to be three months+. PS1-PS3 games seem to last considerably longer than PS4-PS5 games.
Basically, tackle the current and last gen gen third party games first if you are worried about them going.
@LifeGirl - thanks. I need to be more focused and just play 1-2 games at a time.
@Czar_Khastik we believe in you!
You can do it! 😂
@Anthony_Daniels RE3 took me under 4 hours. It's a very short game, you can do it on a Saturday afternoon.
I've been slowly grinding my way through the Phoenix Wright games for months now. I guess it's time to finally finish T&T...
@Feffster 1st party games do tend to stay on longer - demon’s souls, Ghost of Tsushima etc have been on for years.3rd party is a mixed bag - some are on for as little as six months. But in some cases like GTA V they get rotated back in. Prioritise your extra backlog over monthly essential as once you’ve redeemed a monthly game it’s yours for as long as you subscribe.on average you should get at least a year to play something on the extra tier.
Thank the heavens I finished Ace Attorney in time. It was such a blast to play/read through.
@liathach - that’s appreciated, thanks for the advice 👍
Bring back Horizon Forbidden West, I was thoroughly enjoying that, playing it as often as free time allowed and then they removed it
I'm not buying as the second I do it'll be added back
