Wish you could play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom or its predecessor on PS5? Well, you obviously can't (unless Nintendo does an Xbox), but Cloudheim, an upcoming PS5 action RPG, definitely has some of that style going on.
Developed by Noodle Cat Games, Cloudheim is an action title that combines physics-driven combat with crafting/survival mechanics — and you can play it in four-player online co-op with your friends.
Enemies will take more damage if you use the game's physics to attack them — in other words, using the fully destructible environments and objects around you.
Your weapons can also conjure various effects, like tornadoes or explosions.
You explore the game's world while riding on the back of a giant flying turtle, and you'll also craft a range of weaponry and equipment as you progress.
Although crafting seems to be a big part of the game, it doesn't seem this is a survival game as such. It seems more focused on exploration, combat, and loot — your classic setup, really.
It's coming to PS5 sometime this year. What are your thoughts on Cloudheim? Tell us in the comments section below.

I just did a "CTRL + F" to see how many times "RPG" shows up on the main paid and it's 7. 7! I'm feeling so good about this year! RPGs are back baby! Glory!
It was hard not to roll my eyes a little at the game's description, but this does look pretty fun.
Looks fun but bummer no single player.
@ECharles why a bummer there million single player games make some new friends
If the co-op is online only then count me out. Title had me all excited but then I read the article.😝
@ECharles Just found the Steam page, and it says play SOLO or co-op.
If it plays as good as it looks like it should, I'm stoked.
Definitely interested if solo!
It has the look but lacks the charm and ends up looking like another generic online 4 player romp with lots of fighting and looting. I doubt it'll have these sublime "woah" moments like Zelda does, even though having that together with a friend would be amazing. I guess Nintendo will have to do that.
The poor man’s Zelda, if any.
Are Nintendo gonna do a Palworld for this game too?
@AhmadSumadi RPG never left. Every year we always got plenty of them.
It looks neat, I'll keep an eye on the Steam page for it.
This literally looks nothing like zelda and I'm kinda sick of people making Half-Ased comparisons to other games. People don't know how to categorize anymore and people certainly don't know how to do comparisons anymore. And if this looked like anything it would be genshin or Wuthering waves. Those two look like Zelda. This doesn't look like Zelda and all of these games that people keep claiming look like Nintendo's games are just generic open world games with crafting in them.
It really...doesn't look like Zelda. It looks like a post-BotW generic art style with random contemporary features. Which, you know, is fine. But still...doesn't look like Zelda.
Also, I reckon that of you wanna play Zelda, just buy a Switch instead of a PS5 Pro and/or Portal. Then you can play ACTUAL Zelda — plus Mario, Xenoblade, Metroid, and whatever else ya want.
@PuppetMaster yes. But they’d always take a back seat to shooters. Especially FPS. Doesn’t look that way so far this year.
The combat looks stiff and empty.
And the character and world design looks like they used ai.
I'll be playing it solo since you can play it on your own to
More than anything, this makes me wish Nintendo WOULD ‘do a Microsoft’ on this. Same with Xenoblade. Those games are stuck on underpowered consoles
Looks very 'free to play' to me. Giving some Genshin Impact vibes.
@Max_the_German Same thing was said about "Immortals: Fenyx Rising" and that was an absolute corker.
Big question though - can you create your own character?
My Zelda obsessed wife could be interested. She is itching for something like BotW/TotK
