Described as an 'action-adventure thriller', MindsEye is a newly announced PS5 title set in the relatively near future. It's coming to Sony's console this summer.
It's directed by Leslie Benzies, who was once the president of Rockstar North up in Scotland. He was producer on every Grand Theft Auto title dating back to GTA 3, as well as the first Red Dead Redemption (he's credited as lead designer on that one, too).
"MindsEye is our narrative-driven, single-player action-adventure thriller set in the not-too-distant future, in the fictional desert city of Redrock, where artificial intelligence and human greed collide to bring Earth to the precipice of collapse," developer Build A Rocket Boy explains.

We don't have a whole lot to go on outside of the two trailers embedded in this article. The one at the top provides a story overview, while the one below this paragraph gives us a glimpse of gameplay.

I am definitely intrigued by this one. I usually prefer the slashy stabby end of the Action Adventure space, but there was enough in the two trailers that got me interested to find out more.
Yup liked the look of this 👍
Definitely one to keep an eye on. Looked a bit like Watch Dogs in some ways, so GTA-lite vibes with some of its own ideas
For me this looked the most playable of all the action adventure games shown. The others sort of rolled into one and I can’t remember which was which
This is my ****! (💩 in a good way)
Eh, looks like 3rd person Cyberpunk77 on a lower budget to me
At first i thought this is a new Deus EX. But it looks interesting and it came from GTA and RDR 1 lead designer so it has good potential.
Cant decide if this looks good or bad.
@Vovander or a futuristic GTA by one of the three minds that created GTA.
I guess I'm in the minority, and I hate to be a downer, but this looked like the most disappointingly generic dystopian near-future
-shoot-robots-cyber-mind-hack garbage to me, all the way from the boring character-less environments to the endless clichés and repetitive droney action-sci-fi music.
Hope I'm wrong though.
This looks pretty interesting, but it's definitely not for me.
@AK4tywill that makes two of us.
I’ve been following this developer for quite some time. They’ve got about £100m in funding, and their other project, Everywhere, looks like Fortnite-at-home. So at least there is consistency.
@graymamba are you not tired of “spiritual successors” developed by “original creators”?
@Vovander nope
I got a cyberpunk Just cause vibe from this.
@graymamba you’ll in for a treat this summer!
I'll keep an eye on this game, it looks promising
That's OK, if score high enough, and the publish date has no other competitor, I will choose that.
This was the best announcement of the show.
Yay. A self important GTA 5½
Michael Bay: The Game
Not interested because anything an ex GTA employee makes never comes out
Not enough explosions
