Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Will Get an Extra 24 Hours on PS5 After PSN Outage 1

Update []:

As previously promised, this weekend's Monster Hunter Wilds beta will run for an extra 24 hours to make up for the recent PSN outage.

Fans can expect to start playing at 7PM PT on 13th February, and will be able to play until 7PM on 17th February.

Capcom added that anyone who participates during the extended period will still be eligible to earn the 'Participation Bonuses' on PS5.

Original Story: One of the biggest downsides to this weekend’s PSN outage was that the much-anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds beta had been scheduled to take place. Obviously, it’s up and running now, but fans lost a full day of play, which isn’t ideal.

Capcom, eager to make good on the situation, has promised that it’ll offer a further 24 hours of gameplay to make up for the outage.

“To account for reduced OBT2 play time due to the outage, we are considering running OBT2 for an additional 24 hours at a future date,” it wrote on X (or Twitter). “Exact details and timing are TBD, so please stay tuned.”

Currently, the beta is scheduled to run until 7PM PT on 9th February. However, a second test will start at 7PM PT on 13th February and run until 7PM PT on 16th February. Our guess is that Capcom will just extend the test for an extra day, but we’ll obviously let you know as soon as we know its plans.
