Wrong Organ has confirmed a PS5 port of its hit horror game Mouthwashing will release later this year, both digitally on the PS Store and physically thanks to a boxed copy supplied by Fangamer. You can sign up to receive alerts relating to the latter, though a fixed release date hasn't been announced yet.
The game originally released last September to rave critic reviews, and has since sold over 500,000 copies. For those who don't know, Mouthwashing is a horror game that follows a dying crew aboard a spaceship. "Follow the lives of the crew as they weather starvation, isolation, and each other. People were never your strong suit anyway. The ship will run out of power within six months. Food rations long before that." You can catch it in action in the trailer above.

After 18 verdicts for the PC version, Mouthwashing commands an impressive Metacritic rating of 87. "Mouthwashing is grimy, uncomfortable, and incredibly compelling, painting an unsettling picture of who we can be in our worst moments — and it doesn’t let us get away with it," said IGN.
Mouthwashing will be out for PS5 later this year. Have you been waiting for a PlayStation port of this one? Let us know in the comments below.

Common Indie horror game W
I’ve heard nothing but great things about this game, particularly from Dustin on Sacred Symbols. I am looking forward to trying it out once it releases!
Ready for this.
Finally, I'm super excited to play this. Hopefully it's released soon.
I'm glad people enjoy this and are excited, but this is one of the most overrated games I've ever played. I enjoyed my time with it, but I really don't understand the love people on social media have with it. It's a perfectly fine game, but it's very pretentious and it's fans are mostly obnoxious teenagers that think the game is "deep" because it deals with slightly mature themes and is overloaded with hidden messages.
@Kraven Same here, been waiting to hear about a PlayStation Port 😁
Never heard of it, but that trailer looks awesome. I love weird grimy indie games.
Nothing to do with this game whatsoever but that pic really reminds of the art style of Ska Studios/James Silva. The 2 Dishwasher games he made were amazing. Shame they never got PS ports. Random ramble over.
The only time I ever watch gaming playthroughs is for small horror titles like this that I don't think will get a PS release... dammit. I'll probably still grab a physical copy though. It was a very well-written game with distinct visuals.
Gene and Dustin on Last Stand raved about this game so I played it. I unfortunately did not like it. 😭
