While a new lineup of PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium games was confirmed earlier this week, the date they go live (Tuesday, 18th February 2025) also marks the moment a different list of eight PS5, PS4 titles leaves the service. It'll be an RPG exodus next week, with the following games taken off PS Plus:
- The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition (PS5)
- Tales of Arise (PS5, PS4)
- Tales of Zestiria (PS4)
- Tales of Symphonia Remastered (PS4)
- Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition (PS4)
- Outriders (PS5, PS4)
- Scarlet Nexus (PS5, PS4)
- Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition (PS4)
Unlike the PS Plus Essential tier, once these games are removed from the service, you can't continue playing them. The only ways you could pick up your progress again would be to buy them off the PS Store or purchase a physical copy. As we highlighted these departing titles back when they first joined the Last Chance to Play section on PS5, there's a good chance you've already at least made a start on one of these RPGs before they leave.
If not, however, you'll need to ditch any Valentine's Day plans to get them finished. Except for Bulletstorm, which is a fun and shorter FPS, all these games will take at least 20 hours to finish. If any of them are part of your PS Plus backlog, now's the time to marathon them. For all details on the 9 PS Plus Extra, Premium games for February 2025 replacing them, click the link.

I finished Symphonia at the weekend largely because of it leaving Plus. I could have gone back to my disc copy but it was an incentive to finally get it done and then sell my disc. I did the same with Nier Replicant.
One less RPG on the eternal backlog
Outriders was surprisingly good. Decent story, cool protagonist, nice shooting with a focus on killing enemies fast, solid progression. End-game, though, is kinda boring and repetitive, but DLC fixes the problem.
@Tomato_Goose I always like the look of outriders, does It have a tough platinum do you know
@Tomato_Goose I had a fun time with it! Didn't like it enough to buy the DLC to experience the "true" endgame (mostly cause I was playing solo), but I had a blast creating my own little build and blowing up monsters. Dumb popcorn movie of a looter shooter.
Finished Scarlet Nexus yesterday. Would recommend it to you people, but it's more than 20 hours long and you probably won't finish it in time ^_^
Just bought the PS5 2 weeks ago, I planned on playing Arise/Scarlet Nexus, guess not Ah well they go pretty cheap during sales I guess I will just pick them up one day.
@Mikey856 platinum seemed quite easy for me, cause I've explored all the locations, done all the side quests and had a pretty solid build, which carried me through most of the content with ease. But I believe, even without all the things above you'll get most of the trophies after finishing the campaign with little work afterwards needed for plat.
Was looking forward to Tales of Arise, but I'm not gonna rush it.
Just started High On Life and so far I love it, laugh out loud game, so this alone makes February worth it
I've just downgraded to basic I it comes with online and discounts and that's all I need but I only ever play Helldivers 2 when the PC is occupied so can't go on that version which is my main HD2. Wish the game had cross savw
@LiamCroft - do you think we’ll lose Days Gone soon? (now there’s a remaster on the way) It is still in my backlog (I completely missed the PS4/Xbox One generation so I’ve got lots of catching up to do).
Had the outer worlds on my next to play list for a few months now and still haven't got around to it as i haven't touched a single game this year. shame to miss out on it, it's one I've wanted to play but the beauty of the subscription model is there's always plenty more games to play.
I once subscribed to PS Plus Premium and Extra tiers, but I played almost nothing that they offered. It was very irritating to have a couple in my library downloaded and ready to play, but they were no longer available. After that, I went back to Essentials and never felt like I was missing out.
It's always funny to read how people suddenly start playing games as soon as it is announced that they are leaving PS Plus.
Damn 4 tales of games and scarlett nexus bruh that's a blow 8
@Tomato_Goose okay thanks mate. I’m working through Ragnarok and snowrunner platinums atm and thoroughly enjoying them but I’m always on the lookout for my next run 👊
