The Khaos Reigns era of Mortal Kombat 1 will conclude with guest character T-1000, coming to PS5 for early access owners on 18th March and everyone on 25th March.
Featuring the voice and likeness of original actor Robert Patrick, this first look trailer gives us an early taste of the character in action. And there’s a lot of what you’d expect from the 1991 movie, including the character’s infamous blade and hook arms. At one point he even dissolves into a pit of metallic gel, before rising up to release a devastating upper-cut.

The Fatality, as is so often the case, is the standout, though. In this clip, the T-1000 chases down Johnny Cage in a truck, in a scene reminiscent of one of the most iconic moments from the movie. After hitting the hapless Cage, he blobs onto the front bumper and fills the celebrity full of lead.
In other news, the trailer also confirms that Madam Bo – a well-loved restaurant owner from the main Mortal Kombat 1 story – will be added as a Kameo fighter.
We now need to wait and see if this really is the last of the game’s updates, or if there’ll be more to follow. Despite selling fairly well, there’s a belief that Mortal Kombat 1 didn’t meet Warner Bros’ expectations, perhaps owing to the fact that there wasn’t much appetite for a new MK so soon after Mortal Kombat 11.

Could swear that thumbnail was ripped from Detroit: Become Human?!!
It's nice they've kept Robert Patrick, but damn you can hear the age in his voice.
Hope he asks where the galleria is.
Hey, that's the cop from Wayne's World!
@Skeletor85 have you seen this boy!??
So that's how T-1000 defeats another fighter. And how does another fighter defeat T-1000? He's an admittedly peculiar choice for a generally melee-oriented fighting game since back in the movie there were only so many ways to even just slow the guy down. Outside elemental users like Sub-Zero, you'd think one would need fatalities spammed to defeat an opponent like this.🤔
Call to John now!
T2 was a master piece the movies even there for me like Alien and Aliens, Predator 1 and 2 oh ironic
@nhSnork It's just a game dude, I wouldn't take it too seriously 😂
@JustMyOpinion neither would I, or I'd forfeit playing Smash Bros.😄 My comment above is fairly tongue-in-cheek but I'm still standing by the inherent irony of the subject at hand, whether it's deliberate (which I wouldn't put past this franchise) or not.
