Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Reveal Teased for 4th March in Countdown

What is your favourite Tony Hawk game? Mine is 4.

Depending on what they do with it, I might be very excited about this.

Just realised the date is 3.4... THPS 3 + 4. BAH GAWD!

I don't think I ever played 4... but 100% played 3, and loved the recent 1 & 2 remake, so fingers crossed!

I never thought that I would be excited about anything that happens in a CoD game. But here I am. The biggest gaming news for me personally this year. Even above GTA VI.
I am so ready.

I know like most games it would come to PlayStation eventually but this is something Id really want to play day 1

THPS 1+2 was awesome and I'm still playing through it now! I'd love to see a new version of 3+4 but happy to take any decent Tony Hawk's game, be it a new game, remaster or remake.

Suuuuper excited regardless of what the project is. The challenges system in 1+2 is the best thing they ever did, so so much replayability. 4 and Underground’s free roam with the challenge system would be up there with my favourite games of all time.

Definitely looking forward to this, I clearly remember playing 1, 2 and 3 but I’m not sure if I played 4 as my memory is a bit vague - could be as it’s very similar in style, music and box art to the other and also as it was around 20 years ago lol. Day 1 purchase

This would free up two spaces in the PS2 section of my game shelf.

@Member_the_game I am without a shadow of a doubt absolutely positively 100% sure it'll be multiplatform at day 5. Not day 1, because they will probably sell a premium edition with "5 days early access" or some such nonsense.

Announcement in March sounds more believable than the summer showcase shadow drop rumour. Physical on Xbox hardware is pretty much dead (e.g. Indiana Jones and Avowed were code in box) but this sounds like the kind of game that would have a proper disc/cart version for PS5/Switch.

Here's to hoping it plays just as good as the 1+2 remaster.

Jeeeeez so that's what? 10 games Microsoft put out in 12 months? Spending $80B is finally starting to pay off if they keep the cadence up, they'll make that back fast now that all of their games are going multiplatform.

Omg I'm so happy. I love THPS3 so much. Now just get most of the music back and it'll be amazing. I think 1&2 HD retained a high majority of the songs, with a few new ones replacing ones that didn't return. If they maintain a similar rate, I'll be happy.

I am down for a remake not a remaster. I already have them on PC all cleaned up.

Iron Galaxy is working on THPS 3+4 but will it still be amazing like THPS 1+2 or would of it been much better if Vicarious Visions worked on it instead?

@yazzika So right now, we don't know if THPS 3+4 will be amazing like THPS 1+2 and have the same mechanics that made it so great? We have to wait and see? I'm really excited but really concerned at the same time, what about you? I don't want to see another THPS 5 flop.

Given they stopped the ability to play online on the first remake, I definitely won't be paying anywhere near full price for this, as much as I can't wait to play it.

@Dalamar It's not an easy question because mine are exactly 3 and 4 Couldn't choose between them.

@batosaims Why do you think they have gone M.P because after they bought Blizzard/Acti it's shareholders and CEO were probably stoaked they had loads of games coming for Xbox. Then Phil probably told them "Errrrr no most are for playstation and a lot are a years away".

That probably got them pissed and so decided nope we've never been able to catch up after our Xbox One disaster, so we're going M.P and switching to a publisher front from now on
