The latest physical UK chart is in, and new arrival Civilization 7 almost makes it to the tip top. Beaten only by the ever-popular EA Sports FC 25, the strategy sim makes a commendable debut at number two. Almost half of the physical copies sold were for PS5.
Elsewhere, the acclaimed Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has moved down from first to third in its second week, with the PS5 version making up 86 per cent of its physical sales.
Another new release makes its arrival at number four with Rugby 25, while PAYDAY 3 makes a return to the top 10 in seventh, thanks to a price cut.
Here's the latest top 10 in full (physical sales only).

KCD2 being 3rd is a huge W for Warhorse, easily my GOTY so far.
Great to see Civ7 moving so many copies, it's not perfect but there is a lot there to keep you busy through multiple playthroughs. Who bought Payday 3? It just went to plus+ and was less than £15 at Christmas, at least on Amazon. It deserves to sell if they bundled some of the many DLCs into the asking price but as a stand alone game it's seriously lacking. It wouldn't be as bad if the Devs were putting some of that money and resources back into the roadmap like they promised, instead they are focused on an entirely different game.
If a rugby games makes the top 5 it must have been a slow week in general!
Made up for Civ 7 though, I will be dipping into that at some point for sure!
Interesting to see Civ 7 at the number 2 spot. Good on them. Question is, when will we see a proper review for Civ 7 on Push Square?
As for KCD2... simply the best game I have played since BG 3.
It is my favorite game of the year so far.
Absolutely incredible!
I need to see reviews on civ 7 on console. Wasn't impressed by the turn speeds and controls of 6 previously compared to on my pc
