Warhorse Studios has today published another Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 update on PS5, this time presenting it as more of a smaller hotfix than a substantial patch. Rather than a 55GB download, this time it's only 2.621GB.
Across all versions of the RPG, the pause menu has been updated to remove the New Game option to stop you from accidentally firing up a new playthrough. In addition, various fixes across room renting (you'll no longer be considered trespassing), and the Into the Underworld quest have been applied. Looking at PS5 specifically, the update resolves a problem relating to "visual artifacts occurring in Performance mode".
Since this update isn't detailing 1,000+ updates, you can find a reasonable list of the patch notes below.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Update 1.2.2 Patch Notes
Room Renting
Fixed an issue where players would still be considered trespassing in rented rooms after leaving the map and returning.
User Interface
Removed the New Game option from the in-game pause menu to prevent accidental overwrites of existing playlines. A more robust solution will be implemented in a future update.
Into the Underworld Quest
Fixed an issue where Goatskin would disappear when loading a save from version 1.1.X after updating to version 1.2.
Platform-Specific Fixes
PlayStation 5: Resolved visual artifacts occurring in Performance mode.
PC: Fixed an issue where closing the barber overlay with a mouse would break the main menu.
This hotfix ensures a smoother experience as we continue refining the game. Thanks for your patience and support!

If this gets rid of the flashing, then Jesus Christ be praised, etc.
Yeah that last patch was pretty buggy, thank god the room renting is fixed as that annoyed me no end.
How many months it's going to take to stabilize this game? It looks awesome but not really in a good shape until now.
@B0udoir For someone who has got platinum for the game, I thought it ran really well not perfect but way way better then what KCD1 was like in it's first year.
I was playing yesterday and noticed these brown smudges on the roads while out in the countryside. They’d sort of fade in and out infront of me when I moved. Was playing on the ps5 pro
I will admit that taking a break with my precious KCD2 was only caused by the absolutely insane addition of Veilguard to PS Plus. It was a no-brainer decision to sub for a month and get some long due online gaming with friends and backlog clearing of previously added essentials done also.
But getting two very important patches to a very well performing game is almost an uncanny stroke of good luck on top of Veilguard vibing so well with me that I started a second playthrough with a new race, gender and class.
I want to see if my fragile male ego can handle Taash or if she'll reject me faster than hot garbage.
But... unlike my Baldur's Gate 3 first run that still has to be excaveted I Pinky promised myself to return with haste to KCD2. #toomanygames #spoiled
Edit: They!!!! read they instead of she....
@B0udoir The game is pretty playable as is, the 2nd map with the big city can be pretty buggy but overall its in a good if imperfect state.
I cannot put this game down since launch, dark horse contender of GOTY?
I played roughly 250+ hours on PS5 Pro and I didn't have bad glitches with the game. There were some funny glitches though and I don't mind it. The only thing that is really annoying - I record a lot of moments with the native PS5 Pro recording in 4K, but the quality of the recorded videos is so bad, it looks even worse than 1080 for some reason. I'm not sure if it's PS5 Pro glitch or it's the game's fault. I play in 4K as well (just in case).
