Paranormal investigation is the other of the day in Daedalic’s bone-chilling new PS5 adventure, The Occultist.
A first-person adventure where you assume the role of Alan Rebels, you’ll travel to the spooky island of Godstone in search of secrets related to your father’s disappearance.
But as the trailer teases, tough times await: haunted houses, poltergeists, and creepy clowns will all be waiting for you. You’d better learn how to use that mystical pendulum you’re armed with fast, eh?
The actual gameplay will span puzzles, survival, and stealth, with an original soundtrack by Spanish composer Pepe Herrero. It’s due out in 2026.

Looks interesting. The protagonists name being Alan Rebels though, oof. Almost impossible to take it seriously
This has been on my wishlist for a while. Reminds me of The Medium, but I enjoyed that.
