PS Plus Essential users can now treat themselves to the well-regarded RoboCop: Rogue City and two further PS5, PS4 titles as the service's April 2025 selection of games are now available to download. You have got until 5th May 2025 to redeem them to your PSN account, with the full lineup looking like this:
- RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5) | Review
- The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS5, PS4) | Review
- Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory (PS4) | Review
The three games are available to download now in the UK and across Europe, and will also go live in the USA later on in the day.
We asked the Push Square community for its thoughts concerning the new PS Plus Essential selection with a Poll, asking whether they're happy with the offerings. After 2,400+ votes, the "mostly happy" and "it's a crap selection" options are both tied with 24 per cent each of the total responses. Just as many people like it as they do hate it!
Remember that with the PS Plus Essential tier, as long as you at least redeem the three titles to your account, you shall keep access to them for as long as you maintain your membership. Since RoboCop: Rogue City is getting an expansion called Unfinished Business later this year, it's worth grabbing that PS5 game at the very least.
Which of these PS Plus Essential games will you play first? Let us know in the comments below.

Robocop is an excellent game especially if you watched the films back in the day.
I have three days of late evening gaming reserved for Robocop in the name of stupid fun. I just finished Bioshock Infinite and this looks to be another on-rails shooter without the inventive space magic.
I snuck in a quick sesh just to play what is seemingly the tutorial. So far, it is an over the top point and shoot clonky action shooter that moves with the grace of a ton of bricks.
I will give RoboCop a shot after Monster Hunter.
I was enjoying robo cop until my game glitched and I couldn’t make progress because a door wouldn’t open.
In before 'I haven't seen Robocop', you need to go watch it asap. It's one of the best sci-fi movies of all time.
A bit unfortune that they delisted the first Cyber Sleuth on PS so quickly, but at least you can get the collection with both games on Switch and Steam.
Of course I bought Robocop recently so it came to plus. But well worth a play
@EfYI
It's not an "on rail shooter".

The first mission's last-gen mission design made me think it is linear with one way to go.
Maybe I am misusing the term, I usually play open world games if possible.
I thought Robocop would be the main attraction but it says 135 friends are playing TXCM and only 52 are on Robocop.
Very surprised by RoboCop. It is excellent and gives me vibes of Deus Ex. It's not a doom like but more a first-person RPG like DE.
