A follow-up to 2019's Daemon x Machina — which never actually made it to PlayStation platforms — Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion has been confirmed for PS5. It launches worldwide on the 5th September.
The first game was a hectic blend of Armored Core-esque mecha action and anime-infused drama — and it's fair to say that this sequel is following in its footsteps.
Having said that, there's clearly some ambition on display here. For starters, Titanic Scion is going open world, giving players a "vast" alien planet to explore, either on-foot or inside of your trusty mech (know as an Arsenal in this franchise).

You'll also be able to team up with other players online, letting you tackle the main campaign or take on various missions together. It all sounds rather robust, especially when you factor in an eye-popping amount of promised customisation for your mechanical companion.

I played the demo and it was neat but kinda clunky. This game looks so much better and it's even coming to other platforms so that makes it infinitely better. Hopefully it gets a demo too
Looks cool, if generic.
Kinda got lost in the shuffle with all the big news today, but this looks pretty dope.
I'm hoping this means the first game will eventually be brought over to PS5, even if it's just a basic/lazy port instead of a proper remaster.
