You may recall the announcement of Wreckreation, an arcade racing game in which you and your friends can build crazy courses together.
After about 20 months of nothing, developer Three Fields Entertainment is finally teasing a return:
The last time we saw Wreckreation was in August of 2023, when a gameplay trailer showcased how players can construct tracks and then race on them.
The game looks to have a varied garage of vehicles, as well as a large suite of props, track pieces, and decorations with which to build your best and most chaotic races.
Judging by the teaser, some sort of announcement is imminent, and we're really curious to see more.
Three Fields Entertainment has among its staff some of the key figures behind the Burnout series, although the team's racing games up to now haven't quite measured up to that legacy. Hopefully Wreckreation sets the studio on a positive path.

Three fields give us another Dangerous Golf with ray tracing, loved that game 👍
Really looking forward to this one, if they nail community sharing of created tracks and a decent career mode I’m sold!
It's funny, I was thinking about this not long ago. Danger Zone was a good low budget revisit of Burnout's crash game mode, but Dangerous Driving was deeply mediocre and riddled with flaws. A typical 5/10 game that I still played to its conclusion (and the follow up never seeing the light of day).
Wreckreation is an interesting concept but I'll reserve judgement until its release, given their recent products.
I just want a Burnout 4
@Dragonaged I just want Ridge Racer 8
We already have Wreckfest
