In case you weren't aware, the Future Games Show makes its return this week with the Spring Showcase.
Future Games Show has quietly become a part of the video games calendar of events over the last few years, showing up every so often with a whole bunch of interesting titles to show off.
The upcoming Spring Showcase is no different; it's a 90-minute presentation that's set to include over 40 games across various platforms, including PS5 of course.
Presented by actors Devora Wilde (Baldur's Gate 3, Split Fiction, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33) and Shai Matheson (LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Wuthering Waves, Dragon Quest XI), the show takes place on Thursday 12th March, 2026 at the following times:
Subscribe to Push Square on YouTube168k
- North America: 1pm PDT / 2pm MDT / 3pm CDT / 4pm EDT
- UK/Ire: 8pm GMT
- Europe: 9pm CET / 10pm EET
- Asia/Oceania: 5am (Fri) JST / 4am (Fri) AWST / 7am (Fri) AEDT
While we obviously don't know every game that'll be present during the show, a handful of them have been revealed ahead of time. These include games like Life Is Strange: Reunion and Directive 8020.
With 40+ games getting some air time during the showcase, there's bound to be at least a handful of interesting titles shown for PS5, so we reckon it'll be worth a watch.
You'll be able to do so via YouTube, Twitch, and pretty much every other social/streaming channel you can think of.

Sounds hype, I’m in. 11 pm sounds manageable.
Hopefully, we get some release dates
What was shown at the last one? I don’t remember, so I don’t know what to expect.
I'll be taking a trip. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up with a few announcements here
I don't remember these for any big announcements or trailers so...I'm probably gonna pass. Who even does these?
I'll keep an eye on the stream to see what's announced.
Noted, didn't even know this show existed, so I'm curious.
Thanks for the tip!
And for the "Your local time" field 👍
I do not see the point in watching these things live when I can just read an article the next day.
R-type I and II Cosmos releases in Japan on the 12th. Got it on the way. Wish it could get here in time to play while watching this.
I didn't know about it. Maybe I will watch if Directive 8 is shown off. Their games are so cool!
I feel like this livestream will be 80% filler but I may have it on in the background.
Time to find out what that NieR Automata “to be continued…” tease was all about then 👀
@LifeGirl you could literally say that about anything 🤣 what's the point in watching a sporting event when you can read the article the next day? 🤷🏻♂️
@Corc11 Because the appeal of a sporting event is watching how they arrive at the final score.
There's no such journey with this; the "final score" (what was announced) is the entire appeal.
I’ll leave it on in the background. Future Games Show doesn’t tend to announce much that appeals to me, but, hey, I like Life is Strange, so I’ll watch for that to get some info.
I'll watch it. Maybe they'll show something random like Eurotruck Simulator 2 or announce some kind of PC title like Megabonk, console players need to experience that game.
As usual, I'll dig through the announcements afterwards.
Not going to lie - this sounds like hell. There's nothing I hate more than watching these events, it's just back to back trailers. In fact it probably does more harm than good in some cases - a lot of the games end up blending together and it really shows just how similar every single video game trailer is cut.
These showcases have gotten better and better over the years.
back to the future
Beast of reincarnation pre orders!! 🙏🙏
It will be as boring as the last one but I'll still be watching to see how pathetic modern gaming still is with weak ideas. Might as well inform myself via the news and the shows after all.
But maybe the advertising gets better this year? I doubt it but it can happen for some games, there is always a silver lining of something decent in these shows. Just not high hopes at all.
That was honestly pretty lackluster, cringe even? I'm no expert on modern gaming but I don't know who the vast majority of those games were for. I dropped into chat early and met what seemed like the entire Ready or Not playerbase, followed by the Life is Strange playerbase but the games themselves weren't great.
Lego Batman however is looking better and they said there will be 100 costumes to unlock, the new Dave the Diver DLC doesn't look too bad and the devs behind Moonlighter are doing something new with their reVamped game. Tower defense/Dracula-vania. There was also a kind of interesting game called something Pines and a game that looked like a clone of Pacific Drive except with a bike. One game that seemed to be doing something different was Hello Sunshine, a survival game where you have to stay in the shadow of a giant robot as it travels the game-world, if not the sun kills you. I think it was only for PC but the concept was different. 1348 Ev Voto launched on the PSN tonight too, a game set in Medieval Italy that someone on here mentioned recently. It's a 3rd person action adventure.
