PS5 Days of Play

Sony's annual Days of Play promotion, where it discounts its PS5 consoles, accessories, and games both physically and digitally, is making its return soon. According to reliable leaker BillBil-Kun, we should expect the 2026 version of Days of Play to begin on 27th May 2026, and run until 10th June.

While this is not official from Sony yet, BillBil-Kun has proven so reliable over the past few years that this news is already all but official.

According to the leaker, this year's Days of Play promotion won't be as good as past iterations: they claim there won't be any discounts whatsoever on PS5 systems. Of course, this would follow a recent spree of PS5 console price increases from Sony, which has seen the PS5 Pro land at $900.

You can still look forward to temporary price drops on PS5 accessories, like DualSense controllers, the PSVR2 headset, and the Pulse Elite headphones and Pulse Explore earphones. There'll also be the usual big PS Store sale and discounts on physical PS5 titles. The leaker specifically highlights that Ghost of Yotei will be put on sale.

However, according to BillBil-Kun at least, Sony is removing PS5 consoles from the promotion this year.

When the promotion is official and its lineup of discounts is shared, we'll have you covered for all the best deals. What do you make of this move from PlayStation? Let us know in the comments below.
