Persona 4 Revival has finally been given its re-reveal, courtesy of a brand new trailer.
As you were probably expecting, this remake very much falls in line with Persona 3 Reload; it's a ground-up re-imagining of a classic, rebuilt using Unreal Engine.
The footage is a mix of dialogue scenes and battle, and highlights a few interesting additions, including some kind of action-based parry to catch enemies off-guard in the field.
What's more, party members appear to have super abilities at their disposal now, like the ones that were introduced in the aforementioned Persona 3 Reload.

Oh, and the trailer also confirms that the extra story scenario from Persona 4 Golden is included in this remake. We get to see key character Marie at one point.
Persona 4 Revival's locked in for the 18th February 2027, but are you hyped? Reach out to the truth in the comments section below.

So far the new Gears and this are my top trailers form the Showcase, it looked good. Will wait for this instead of going through Golden.
Hard to get excited for this since I've already completed it several times on PS2 and Vita.
I'm surprised it didn't get announced for the Switch 2 though.
Is there any reason to get Persona 4 for a 4th time?
I cannot get excited. I just know Atlus is gonna screw over the players one way or another with some ridiculous paid story DLC.
Outstanding, looking forward to it. I've played the PS2 original and Golden on Steam a couple of times, can't get enough of it.
Looks great! Ready to play the game for the 3rd time again lol
level of excitement on this is nearly non existent. a persona 1 or 2 remake (especially 2) would get people talking since the vast majority of persona fans haven't played either of them and they are most in need of remakes. the p4 golden remaster from years ago was more than serviceable so this remake comes across as a big shrug. also, new voice acting cast is flat and uninspired next to the OG so that alone could turn people away.
Did they change chie’s voice?
@Nalodart Think I read that it's an entirely new voice cast
@Nalodart I was wondering that myself because she sounds extremely similar to the original
I already bought Persona 4 on PS2, PS Vita, and PS4. Might as well buy it again on PS5. Looks absolutely lovely.
Do they have to look like p5 with a different color scheme tho lol? Very cool but im definitely playing p3fes and p4g 1st before I touch these remakes
I'm ambivalent about this. It looks good, but i would've rather had persona 6 than a persona 4 OR 3 remake.

My favourite Persona game! Please Atlus don't screw this up with weird decisions
Nice it’s out the day before my birthday and I’ve already pre booked that week off plus fable on the 23rd…. I’m in for a good birthday next year.
@8th_Observer oh wow they didn’t even get Troy baker back for kanji?
Gonna be getting this and Fable day one.
Was gonna P4 Golden for the PS4 but I may just wait for P4 Revival instead
I think I'm going to pass on this, I've already played Persona 4 and I'm not that interested in playing it again with better graphics; plus I'm already buying two or three games in February.
I already played last year P4 golden on PS5 but I'm still buying this one I wonder when the digital pre order start
I spent more than 100+ hours on both vanilla and Golden P4 and this looks like very beat by beat of Golden version except with new graphic and music tracks.
@Porco I'm excited for this since I skipped the remaster, I only played the PS2 version, not Golden. But yeah, the new voices are kinda disappointing in this trailer. They sound similar, but their energy is completely different. Persona 4 had exceptional voice acting, it was one of the main reasons why the main cast was so exciting to watch.
