Just weeks after its big Xbox showcase, Stranger Than Heaven has returned to give us a proper release date.
As promised, it launches for PS5 this coming winter, on the 15th January 2027. But that's not the biggest talking point here...
No, the real shocker is that, somehow, Tupac is in the game. Well, obviously not the man himself, but his likeness. He joins Snoop Dogg in what is very quickly shaping up to be a star-studded cast.
You can catch loads of other names in the above trailer.

Never f.... though in a million years seeing Tupac on game made a by JP company that's crazy 🤣
That ridiculous and awesome😂 Thug Life!
Ahh yes, a dead person and a rapper who would appear at my Grandma's funeral if he was asked to are in the game. Maybe not my example of star studded, but sure.
@Bigumamiflavor I mean Tupac is one of the greatest music artists to ever exist and is still being talked about decades after his murder.
Retconning deaths isn't enough.
They need to bring back actual dead people now. Apart from random as all hell, this feels incredibly shallow and teetering on disrespectful. Tupac is not the only dead actor in here this game either.
Thug life all eyes on me.2 pac is in this joint with snoop dog bitc😄 please. This game gonna be another quality game.word up son
I love Tupac so this is crazy
I think January could be another busy month for gaming fans!
I don't care "permissions from right owners". Seeing dead people again like this feel too weird and not right.
Why, though?
Really not a big fan of parading a dead celebrity's likeness about. With the family's blessing, it's not the worst thing. But it always feels weird and dirty regardless.
Big RGG fan, but this is insane levels of cringe.
@DennisReynolds I can't name tu Tupac songs.
@NeoTokyo404 Coolio is next 😭
@Bigumamiflavor You can't spell "two" either. It's not looking good for you.
I genuinely thought this 'Tupac game' was a windup from Ravix in chat. I only caught the last twenty or so minutes of the show and the odds of a Tupac game being real aren't all that high, but apparently here we are.
@Matroska oh no... Is the joke going over your head or mine?
2 of Americaz most wanted
I don't see the problem of using celebrity face / likeness who already passed away, especially when the family already gave the permission. It's not like they used the face for bad reasons or showed them in negative role either.
But i guess people who have problem with Sega using Tupac face will not play Onimusha: Way of the Sword since Capcom used Toshiro Mifune face for Musashi and the actor already passed away almost three decades ago.
the game already looked bad prior to this, but bringing in tupac is completely disrespectful to his legacy. doesn't matter if his estate signed off on it... they will certainly use AI to voice his character (unless they make him mute or find an imposter???) and i have a feeling tupac wouldn't be cool with this. can't teach people ethics i suppose. this decision should be VERY controversial, but people lose themselves in the hype and have no objectivity or principles.
@Bigumamiflavor he turned up when my nan was in hospital. Heard she was having a Hip Op.
Can't wait for the Selena reveal trailer
We wuz yakuzaz
The "rubber bullets" jokes write themselves.
I was willing to give RGG the benefit of the doubt this time despite their recent decisions, but this has slightly lowered my optimism.
It's weird using Pac like this, but...I enjoyed the Bruce Lee DLC in Hitman and he's been dead longer ¯_ (ツ)_/¯
