It's a pattern we've seen a few times now: A game arrives on PC, makes a splash, and the PS Store is flooded with cheap copycat clones trying to cash in on the hype. This is eventually followed by an official console port, and all becomes right with the world.

Well, that's exactly the scenario we find ourselves in with TCG Card Shop Simulator. A viral PC hit that's been in early access for nearly two years, there are a handful of knock-offs available on PS5, but the real deal is finally coming to Sony's console.

It launches on 15th September 2026:

For the uninitiated, TCG Card Shop Simulator is a game in which you open and run a small store specialising in trading cards, and eventually moving into merchandise and other tabletop games as you expand.

The hit game in this world is called Tetramon, heavily inspired by Pokémon of course, and fans will come in to buy booster packs as well as trade cards and battle with other customers.

It's one of these tycoon style sim games where you earn money, expand the store, customise the interior, and gradually grow your business.

In the 1.0 version launching on 15th September, TCG Card Shop Simulator will also allow you to build decks and play against CPU opponents, a much-requested feature during early access. You'll also be able to play Tournament mode, which lets you host competitive matches in your shop.

The game is available to wishlist on PS Store, if you're interested.
