4A Games has made Metro 2039 available to pre-order on the PS Store in the last 24 hours, revealing its price point and two editions to choose from.

Metro 2039 has been confirmed as a £59.99 / $69.99 release if you're picking the base version, though a Deluxe Edition offers more for an extra £25 / $30. The latter bundles in a digital art book and soundtrack, a Specialist Pack with early item unlocks, and most importantly: a post-launch story expansion.

The listing on the PS Store doesn't come with any other details relating to that DLC. Here's the pre-order trailer to go alongside the news:

Metro Exodus, the previous entry in the series, was also supported post-launch with two expansions that focused on different characters from series protagonist Artyom. Both were well received at the time, so developer 4A Games has a strong track record when it comes to DLC.

The game is out on 4th February 2027, and kickstarts the first busy month of next year in terms of new releases. It's launching around Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, God of War Laufey, Persona 4 Revival, and Fable.
