I literally just ordered a Casetify cover for my new iPhone 18 Pro, and I’m wondering if I should have waited now.

I went with one of the John Kafka designs, a Korean artist I do like, but I obviously didn’t know these Yoji Shinkawa designs were coming down the line.

To celebrate 10 years of Kojima Productions and 15 years of Casetify, the two companies have collaborated on a new Death Stranding 2-themed product line, which looks pretty bad ass.

Sales will start on 15th October, and you can sign up to get priority access a few hours early on Casetify’s website.

The flagship design, imagined by lead artist Shinkawa, is a craft aluminum case which matches the aesthetics of the studio and Death Stranding 2. There are also various other options featuring the Japanese dev’s logo et al.

In addition, Casetify is flogging a bunch of accessories, including a Dollman plush keyring and a QPid wristlet, inspired by Norman Reedus’ necklace in the main game.

All purchases will come with a limited edition trading card, and if you plump up for the abovementioned aluminium case, you’ll be eligible for two exclusive designs which will almost certainly fetch good money on eBay.

There’s no word on any pricing in the press release, but Casetify products are expensive and I bet you’re looking at well over $100 for that flagship design.

You can’t put a price on Kojima endorsed fashion, though, can you? I’m kinda tempted by the orange AirPods Pro 3 case, I must admit.
