Rockstar Games has today shared more details on the launch of GTA 6, across both its digital and physical versions on PS5.

Rumoured last week via a social media account, it has now been confirmed that GTA 6 requires 212GB of space to be downloaded and installed. You'll be able to preload the game, and that option has actually been brought forward by two days.

GTA 6 preload will now be available from Tuesday, 10th November 2026. The title then releases for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on 19th November 2026.

Further, a mainstay of past GTA physical editions, a map of the game world will be produced — but it won't come with the physical "code in a box" editions. Instead, it'll be purchasable for $0.99 from the official Rockstar Store, or bundled in for free with any purchase you make from the storefront — that's if you want a real physical version of it.

Alternatively, there'll be a digital download of the GTA 6 boxart and the Leonida map, which I suppose you could just print out yourself.

"On November 19 we will be adding an official printable Grand Theft Auto VI cover art poster and map of Leonida as a free digital download to the official site," Rockstar revealed. "A double-sided physical version of this poster will also be made available shortly after launch from the Rockstar Store — for $0.99 on its own or as a free gift with any purchase from the Rockstar Store."
