@Fiendish-Beaver Not being sarcastic but can’t think of any mainstream multiplatform series that Sony have paid multiple billion dollars to acquire the studio and publisher to then make the series exclusive? Most of their games like Spiderman and Uncharted etc are home grown. It makes sense that Halo etc are exclusive to Xbox since they created it but why for example would you spend nearly 100 billion on say EA and make FIFA exclusive to one platform?

@riceNpea The question WAS referencing the inferior graphics but not compared to gameplay. The question was “Is it worth playing a graphically inferior version of tbe game just so the save data is recognised by future games and rewarded” this has nothing to do with gameplay between the Switch and PS4 version.

@riceNpea your answer doesn’t match the question. Yes graphics don’t trump gameplay but the gameplay is the same if not better with QOL on the better graphics version.

Sounds like a no to me. Not sure why the publisher hasn’t arranged for a small 3rd party studio to port it if the team don’t have time themselves.

I’ve never played any of these but have already bought Cold Steel 1-3 so quite looking forward to starting the first one soon.

Only thing I’m slightly disappointed in is that it looks like Spider-Man Remastered for PS5 is still locked behind the Ultimate Edition of Miles. Would be nice if this was in New PS Plus.

I’ve got the double platinum (PS4/PS5) and whilst it is a hard game it’s not unfair. You just have to put the time in to learn the mechanics and boss patterns which imo makes the game as amazing as it is. I don’t know if they’ve changed it but I don’t think the platinum should be achievable on easy mode.

@nedbvv the entire article is about classic games and enhanced features of those classic games. What does that have to do at all with gamepass or day 1 releases???

My PS5 downloaded 1.10 earlier today which was around 1GB and the a few hours later it downloaded 1.11 which was around 300MB.

Anyone know what happens if you have PS Now and PS Plus? The PS Now will convert to Premium but what about any months of Plus you have? Are they just useless?

What was the special announcement they mentioned the other day?

I would love PS1, PS2 and PS3 classic games and there’s not even any technical reason why it couldn’t happen or even any realistic reason (legal, money, license etc) that it couldn’t happen but it just feels too good to be true.

I hope there’s more than just outfits. I’d prefer level/story DLC or level editor/creator.

It’s a shame we can’t preload the PS5 upgrade versions but dems the rules.

@Vertpin I prefer the PS5 UI apart from the lack of folders. VRR is much more important that visual UI tweaks.

Getting silly now. The UI is fine. Focus on technical upgrades. I get the minority of users care about 1440p or VRR but they are important features the bloody competition launched with. Granted I’d have rather had games than those features but it’s been a year already.

A level editor would be amazing.
