Good because games were next on the list. The one fault with digital media is it doesn’t physically exist.

Pushing 268 hours on Dying Light 2, I have no problem with this.

If I go digital, I own physically nothing. If I get the physical copy then I have to have a disk inserted and listen to the drive do its thing. Decisions.

A non-GoT action, open world game. Sign me up. At least with Souls games, you get a sense of accomplishment that others cannot. I’ll take this method of gaming over the twitch mechanics of Sekiro and GoT.

Shadowrun, Tinykin, Grime (action adventure dark rpg), Proteus. The indie games look a bit more fun than a rehash of GTA or a FF dud.

It’ll come to extra at some point, I’ll wait.

With Rebirth around the corner, why not?

@Danloaded No. it has an open world, but the controls suck and while it’s atmospheric, things just drag along with little explanation. Not much of an exploration game so much as a try, try, again to figure out things. Like tossing a seed at plants and rocks.

Day one purchase.

The dirt bikes in the intersection scream’s Philadelphia.

More secrets. Great. Why not add some sightseeing locations? Oh, did that too. How about fishing?

Honestly, having beaten the game, all the missed opportunities for side content that wasn’t there, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Too little, too late.

Can we not? 5 is passable, but 6 is just awful.

I’d expect a New Game + around the same time you’re able to skip the intro. So probably never.

Seems Xbox may be realizing that their small base and whatever the PC gaming base is, are not enough to garner a profit. Compared to sales from Skyrim which was shared across everything, to the current limited projections, Microsoft may be admitting defeat.

To early to tell if they relent and allow the exclusivity to end on their part. Brings the hardships of Sega to mind.

It makes sense. Tv needs that touchy/feely aspect while the game didn’t need that added baggage.

The sewers. A dark, moist environment perfectly suited to molds, fungus and spores. What fun.

Anarchy Online did this to go FTP. Although it was mostly just limited to monitors in game, it also blended in enough to be safely ignored.

This updated version would be better served as a banner or a splash page at title (DL2 does this).

I’d go with 12 different environments rather than levels.

The only positive is the “What if?” Storyline. Oh and shooting someone in the face 20 times with a shotgun, to no effect.

Expect this, the other desert/magic title (for something), Gollum, and good ole Superman 64.

What was fun in many PvP fantasy games now comes to modern. Never gets old.

I just want a go-kart to collect trash, play the real estate market, meet beautiful ladies and kick some ass without hearing “so itchy” every 5 minutes.

I’m going to hold my breath. Then I’m going to get into my air car and goto my job at the 10 star resort where I do nothing. Konami is a pipe dream.

Seems to be a generation gap with this one. As a Gen X I find this stuff hilarious and fun to play. Of course we grew up with C64, so games pushing the PC envelope are refreshing.

Depends on game, film grain tends to work better in samurai games where the environment works with it.

Why bother? It’ll all be on some streaming platform in a few months or on YouTube after a year.

4/10, and 2 6/10 games. Hard pass, pitiful choice.

Hopefully something other than the Rapture where, memories and anomalies are the mystery. Looks like a more horror based walking simulator.
