Played this on C64 or my first PC, was 30 years ago so I don’t remember. It was part of the many puzzle games that came out like Phantasmagoria, Blown Away, to name a few. Such insidious puzzles with no internet to look up hints, fun times.
@NotSoCryptic Bigger world, synergies with every character that can each be leveled up, materia search. The giant explorable areas that give the player the ability to ignore the plot. It’s a FF game, there’s always a grind.
Playing a little of CP now, can see why it didn’t agree. MC has the personality of a brick and walks like a robot. The robots remind me of the one from Black Hole, the evil one.
Gen Zero was an ok game with you vs never ending robots in the hills of an archipelago off of Sweden. Why a kid with zero experience survived when nobody else did is a real head scratcher. Good game, too big of a map and unnecessary added mechanics.
Saints Row is a nice reboot with some questionable progression and a mostly boring map. Very few vehicles to play with only 1 or 2 air/sea things. It’s fun to a point, and misses a lot on the comical that made the others fun.
The MMO I didn’t touch, Extra is enough without another subscription game.
@Darylb88 Did that, the maelstrom boss in the prologue really packs a punch now. The driving is even worse, the NCPD, while being everywhere, are still a pain.
@LordAinsley MS was ok. A bit confusing and some minor roadblocks to start, with some questionable weapon choices. Only game I know where you could jam out with the enemy.
It’ll be awhile. Genshin Impact nailed the aesthetic, while WoW nailed the content. It’s a tough niche to crack. Played many such attempts in the past (Flyff, Tabula Rasa, DAoC), but none have survived. Possibly by next generation consoles will something else take the crown.
It’s kinda had to mess up a souls type game. Looks great with its Victorian puppet monsters, has a nice BB feel, most importantly it has a passionate team behind it.
So first $60 games are now $70, first time it raised in price in 25-30 years (brand new NES titles were $60). Then Sony raises prices on online and plus without reason, by an additional $40 in some cases. Now you have a sale on the usual crap and it’s just business as usual?
In the US, the Fed raised interest rates so high that many of us are paying just interest on CC payments. Not even the balance, just interest. So, raising your prices in this market, very bad idea.
Haven’t seen a company this uncaring about its customers since Microsoft thought it could just buy loyalty.
Wonderful, another Uriel to drown, get electrocuted, crawl on edges, set up lasers just right for the sheer folly of what is reality on a meta philosophical journey. The portal looks nice.
@NinjaNicky The first gave you ample choice to make your way as a basic or advanced class. Pawns make up for any weaknesses you may have. Can have a balanced or unbalanced team. No sign of the bigger monsters in the video, but looks great.
Looks great. Multiple paths, battle choice, nearly guaranteed multiple endings, 2 bastions of civilization. Love it. The attentive pawns catching you is great fun.
Probably why Sony likes to bring indie games day 1, rather than big titles. Which is fine. Rather take something down the road and patched up, than play a bug ridden release.

I think it best to leave the team behind Kong out of the picture.

Just make the text bigger. That’s it, text size matters. I’m too old to squint.

Re: Roblox Is Already Tangling with Call of Duty, Fortnite as the Most Played Game on PS5, PS4
Made the news in Philly, as a predator successfully met an underaged kid via Roblox. He was arrested. Never tried it, had Lincoln logs as a kid.

Well the game better get some good updates soon or it’ll end up like this months 7/10, The Callisto Protocol, and be on Extra next year.

Nope. Zero interest. Not into playing super heroes.

A murder-stealth simulator of PvP, yes, I could see how that would fail. Everyone stays hidden and the match goes on forever.

Stopped at the Bull and rider. Repeatedly dying isn’t fun. Watching someone beat this blindfolded doesn’t help my confidence much.
