Game is great. So many little secrets. Wish there were more “wheels” players in game, that game is addictive. Got all the feels from it, looking forward to DLC.
Somehow I feel the author of this review is wrong on multiple points. People survived, you have a compass, a map with your location pinned. Quests laid out clearly again with a map. It’s explained from the get go that you have some training,
There is no wildlife as far as 1st island goes, makes sense, killer robots would have killed anything that moves. Some bodies missing…strange.
Combat is like far cry. You have skills, perks, schematics, online optional content, a log, inventory, levels.
It may be “budget” but there’s a good game here. 7/10.
In NG+ right now, love the story, the wheels mini game is a creative masterpiece, and the extra content. A big LOL for wandering around the crypt for hours.
An Avalanche game that’s bad (and not supported?), open world, play a teen with zero weapon skills and no combat experience. Well that explanation does fit the game. Not defending it, but can’t be worse than JC4, right?
Gotta do the Saints Row as I may pick up the dlc if I enjoy it. BDO, looks nice I guess?
So another DbD clone. Why even waste money making crap like this? An adventure action survival horror would have been better than this multiplayer garbage. What a waste of an IP.
@CallMeDuraSouka More different play styles. I used to break Atari joysticks as well. Still have the controllers with one going left, the other up on left stick.
It would make business sense to release it in time enough for the average player to reach the point in game when the DLC is available. So x amount of hours per day to get however far in game you need to be?
I’d worry more about drifting. As a player on their 4th controller, unless there’s a solution to this, it’s a no for me. At least Switch joycons can be cheaply (compared to Sony) bought and replaced as they detach, what happens if you get drift with this?
This was a great game with a stellar story that got even better with its sequel. That said, it’s a PS3 game, direct port with all the game breaking bugs, miscellaneous crashes and that’s not even the DLC.
It gives the opportunity to make a fantasy archetype that is made all the more special with quests, choices and consequences. Hasn’t been anything interesting that satisfies that choice of doing good, doing evil or doing psychotic.
If you can’t beat them, buy them out. Yeah, I have even less incentive over an Activision buyout than I did with Bethesda. Someone else will fill the void, they always do.

@djlard The cons seem to make NMS a AAA gold mine.

Maybe Xbox will come back from behind with this Shoot yourself in the foot strategy.

Digging the game, backtracking not so much. Still, relics make going back a breeze.
Re: Reaction: Has Sony Put Together the Worst PS Plus Month Ever?
This is as dumb a move as a software company making its own console.

Nice to see GREED is still prevalent in our doomed society due to Climate Change.

Re: Alan Wake 2 Was Delayed on PS5 to Avoid Going Neck to Neck with Spider-Man 2
Great, I hate superhero games. 1 week isn’t so bad.
Re: Scorn, the Most Repulsive Game Ever Made, Comes to PS5 in October
Seems to be a lot of inserting, squishy sounds and HR Giger. I’ve seen worse. Looks mediocre.

Re: Alan Wake 2 Takes Us to the Dark Place in Eerie New Trailer
The hotel in the first one gave me nightmares, can’t wait to see what I get from the sequel.
Re: Poll: Is 'Live Service' Becoming an Excuse to Release Unfinished Games?
On console, unforgivable. On PC, just another day.
Re: Is This Parody? Tom Holland, Chris Pratt Allegedly Lined Up for Jak & Daxter Movie
Get it videogame accurate. Daxter was the mouth and Jak was the silent muscle. So I’m game for one of these lunkheads to just grunt through a movie.

This was a great game with a stellar story that got even better with its sequel. That said, it’s a PS3 game, direct port with all the game breaking bugs, miscellaneous crashes and that’s not even the DLC.

Love the idea, graphics look iPhone quality. Still, great premise.
Re: Red Dead Redemption PS4 Trends on PS Store as $50 Port Attracts a Lot of Attention
Can’t wait to see how the many crashes, bugs and game ending mission bugs that this direct port gives. Don’t even get me started on the undead dlc.

Yep. Lawn mowing seems to be the choice this month.
Re: Red Dead Redemption Out on PS4 This Month, Not a Remaster
The game was crash happy before, I’m sure people will see a lot of the PS game error screen. The undead portion is a lot more fun than the campaign.
