Victor and his moveset looks sorta sweet, but far as the "cool, older gentleman agent/spy" archetype goes I seen better.
Being voiced by Vincent Cassel is a huge plus though.
I'll give Bamco credit for supporting XV2 for as long as they have.
That said, at some point in the future they need to move on and let it die, that way we can see the potential light for XV3 (although even that is still very far off since Tenakichi is coming back and all).
"Ahhh, I remember like it was yesterday our Push Square was a little lad, now they are all grown up and getting mentioned on TV."π΅
Seriously though, happy for the Push Square staff and community.π
I haven't watched a quiz show since the early 2000s so I know nothing about Tipping Point, only that they sometimes do VG-related questions like this time.
Having tried out the beta and looking past some flaws, the game is good in its own right.
The real question is if S-E can actually handle Foamstars well enough in the long run. I...cannot provide a satisfying answer on that.ππ€·ββοΈ
Nice that TR is getting a new animated show for the first time in 16 years (or 17 since it will air next year), but since it will be based on the Square Enix trilogy I can't say I'm excited for it tbh. Here is hoping (and I use that word lightly) it be a decent watch atleast.
Nice to finally see the show in action, but if there is no Vergil in it I'be sad.
I'm also curious where it will be set in the timeline (assuming Capcom wants the show to be canon like the 2007 anime) because Dante looks kinda close to his DMC1&2 appearance imo.
Thanks for the read! Kabukicho is one of my top locations to visit when I finally travel to Tokyo. And to be perfectly honest this current Kabukicho sounds right up my alley. I dunno how much "armpit-ish" it was during its heydays but I know for sure I wouldn't have been to handle it.π
I never been able to get into LoL properbly (mainly because I never really been into MOBAs), but some of the characters have good designs imo, the Arcane show was a blast to watch, and a few of the spin-offs (such as Ruined King as mentioned above) are so enjoyable. I hope this LoL fighter becomes one of the good ones.
My mind goes all depressed whenever I see "Embracer Group" in a headline nowadays.
I was glad when S-E sold Tomb Raider and other Crystal Dynamics IPs off but wish they would have all gone to a better and more successful company. Embracer Group felt so...uncertain at the time, and now here we are. >_>
For some reason I was a little bothered by the fact that the technical director and game designer didn't share their names in the video. NetEase had them in anycase; Zane Zhang (tech director) & Hannah Yin (game designer).
On-topic game looks good as always, like most 'good-looking' live-service/gacha games do, but thats not saying much imo.
Damn Spencer and Microsoft, continues to sicken people as usual with this crap, ugh... This whole ordeal is also one of the reasons why I'm so pessimistic towards most acquisitions nowadays.
Alongside the new Layton game, Decapolice is the one I have always been most interested in of the upcoming new Level-5 games, espcially since it initialy started as a spiritual sequel to Layton appearently.
As much as I love a Anya-focused Spy x Family game (and I hope its good), it would have been more cooler if we have gotten a action-adventure game with stealth elements. But hey, I honestly take this over yet another anime arena brawler for the 100+ time.>_>'
Wouldn't surprise me if we get 'delayed to next year' statement anytime soon, but that is fine, this month and the next ones are filled enough with games I will be busy buying and playing through. On-topic, the physical release news is great.
Hope those people can find something else for a living.
And as for Embracer Group, and the way they have acted and handled everything lately, it makes me sad that the likes of Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Thief, and Legacy of Kain are under that company's roof right now.
@UltimateOtaku91 : I get what you mean. One can say what they want about most modern 3D games (gacha or not) developed anywhere in Asia outside Japan, but from a visual perspective, especially if its "anime" themed, a LOT of them have been killing it (HoYoverse included).
That fact alone should be something the JP gaming business (and definitely those wanting to make a triple-A anime RPG) should be taking notes of and compete against, instead of seemingly ignoring it for the most part.
Its like the publisher and the developers looked at Genshin Impact & Zenless Zone Zero and mixed those two together, while also adding elements of GTA and Spider Man. Atleast this looks more interesting than Tower of Fantasy.
Looking good, and I honestly find the avatars here a little better than SF6's, though this is mainly me talking after the giant burnout with the many "insane" avatar creations (I'm sure you can guess what I'm referring to) seen in the latter game. I have a feeling TK8's avatars will be less crazy, to put it midly, in comparison.
Maybe its because of the visuals and our 'hot' sci-fi lady here but looking at the thumbnail I thought for a second this was a new trailer on fellow Korean action game Stellar Blade.π
I'm no Genshin Impact or miHoYo fan and I'm pretty fond of Breath of the Wild, but there is no denying that the latter game has also "taken inspirations" from other games (including Skyrim and Shadow of the Colossus, both of which Nintendo has openly confirmed before) and is nowhere near as 'innovative' as certain groups of Nintendo & Zelda fans want to believe it is.
Whether we wanna call it ripping off, copying, cloning, etc., miHoYo has atleast acknowledged before that the 2017 Zelda game was a key inspiration for GI, and I'm for sure not gonna hold a grudge against the company because of the title having the "same" visuals as BotW among many other related accusations. It would be one thing if GIβs gameplay played almost exactly or 100 procent the same as BotW but it doesnβt really, frankly all the similarities between the two titles are pretty thin at best.

Still enjoying the game though.
