I deserve a discount after falling for their $600 PSVR2 scam. Oof $780 for a PS5 and disc drive to do what? Make PS4 games like tlou2 and got run better?
Dipped my toes in vampire Survivors on gamepass at launch and knew it was special but resisted the urge for the inevitable PS5 port. This game is sooooo special. 10/10 for sure. Put in about 12 hours already and have 102 trophies accumulated (for only 38% completed). Between finally playing this, Balatro, and Hades 2 my roguelike itch has been scratched many times this year.
Had my eye on this one since it was announced. Looks almost too good to be true. Would love some competition in this genre where you don't need to purchase 200 DLC packs to get a complete game.
Crazy that all these third party devs port their games to PSVR2. But Sony has no interest in reviving their classic VR1 games. Still no Astrobot Rescue Mission, Wipeout Omega Collection, Blood and Truth etc.
After battling with the terrible PlayStation direct website I finally secured one after 5 hours. Nothing like waiting in line for 2 hours, adding to your cart and then being unable to enter my Credit Card info because the text box doesn't open.
Truly amazing how popular this controller is. $80 and probably will sell better than a lot of AAA releases.
The combination of the fact that Sony does little to no moderation when allowing games on their platform and the fact that they don't allow refunds is going to haunt them someday.
Love stories like this. Solo Dev working after hours on a game. Expects to sell maybe a few thousand copies and go back to his IT job but instantly becomes a millionaire. Such a well deserved achievement for one of a truly unique game.
This seems inline with my expectations. Didn't see anything that elevated the bar up to Cat Quest 2 standards. Still excited and already preordered it.
Its not really Yakuza if you don't make plenty of time for Pocket Circuit, batting cages, Mahjong, Shogi, Dancing, and filming a music video with Michael Jackson.
Reminds me of FFXV. Game announced a decade ago, only to have a gigantic announcement presentation for their release date, which was inevitably delayed again.
Oh nice. Honestly might check this out in between now and Planet Coaster 2. Feel burned with the broken Parkitect port and been having the theme park itch since.
It's kind of a blessing in disguise that I need to replace my controller every few months due to stick drift so I can justify the purchase everytime a new one comes out. This looks fire!
Does this genre of games have a name yet? I'm gonna dub it "Kids beg their parents to buy it cause it's sooooo funny and then stop playing it after 5 minutes Game"
Weird that it's extended just through the morning of a Monday. I tried it a bit over the weekend and found it very disappointing. Another half day wouldn't change my mind.
Ooooh that's a pleasant surprise. With the absolute Trainwreck the Parkitect console port is (so annoyed we can't refund broken games) I am soooo looking forward to this.
I like owning games I know I'd want day one. Subscription services like gamepass and PS plus is good for games I never would have tried if it wasn't available for free with the service.
Woooo great news. Now just need that Sky trilogy port and we are gold. Holding off buying on Steam as I wanna reserve my playthrough for PlayStation and have the full platinum collection
Would be a day one buy, but Daybreak comes out two days later. Reminds me of Planet Coaster coming out right before the PS5 launch where I had to set it aside until I had more time.
Depends if my time feels wasted. Cuphead vs Dark Souls 1 perfect example. Love Cuphead because I die, and I'm instantly back at the boss fight to try again. Ok Dark Souls you reload, and have to spend 10-15 minutes sometimes to get back to the boss you died to. Not fun when it takes several tries to git gud at the boss when you waste several hours just replaying the section to get to it. So not so much the difficulty being the issue, but rather the punishment of dying that turns me off.
Solid return to form for the franchise. Amazing music, world building, and boss fights. Decent enough game play. Terrible performance with fps drops and non existent RPG mechanics.
Fantastic achievement for Toys for Bob. I bet they are feeling proud while they continue their amazing work......making call of duty maps for the rest of time.
Correction: it was Vicarious Visions. Always get those 2 studios confused.
I own it but I'm long past just starting to worry. Long since accepted that Sony had no interest in supporting the system. Bought a Quest 3 at launch while my PSVR2 was sent to pasture.

Re: Sony Increases PS5 Controller Prices in US, Europe, and More
Gotta make up money after burning 9 figures with Concord.
Still would like a controller option without a speaker, microphone etc.
Re: Days Gone Director Roasts 'Small Game' Astro Bot PS5 for Deacon St John Cameo
If it makes him feel any better, not many of us would recognize the character.
Re: Gallery: Astro Bot Has the Best PS5 Controller Design Yet
Waiting for my delivery all day. Don't wanna start the game without this controller.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Vampire Survivors?
One of the best games in the past few years for only $5. Clearly a 10.
Re: Concord PS5, PC Scalpers Attempt to Cash In on 'Rare Collector's Item'
I don't have a single physical PS5 game, but I even considered buying a physical copy of Concord after the news yesterday.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 544
Absolutely addicted to Vampire Survivors and I don't see that ending anytime soon.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Star Wars Outlaws?
Too many amazing games to play to waste my time on unpolished and uninspired games such as this.
Re: Let the Astro Bot PS5 Launch Trailer Tide You Over Until Release
Predicting this game gets the first 11/10 in PushSquare history.

Re: Until Dawn PS5 Is Priced at $60 / £60
Crazy that a game I bought eight years ago for $10 is now going to be $60. And honestly somehow looks worse than I remember.

Re: Poll: Rate Your Favourite PS5 Roguelike Games
Hades and Balatro. Returnal is a great game, but it's roguelike elements were it's weakest part.
Re: Dragon Age: The Veilguard Release Date Dropping Tomorrow, BioWare Promises Loads of Gameplay Details
Excited for the announcement of a 2024 release date which will inevitably lead to an announcement of it being delayed into 2025.

@Almost_Ghostly Oops. I meant four. We aren't known for our math skills in the USA.

Re: Yakuza Wars May Be the 'Surprising' New Game from RGG Studio
My mind went to an RTS like Halo Wars. Could be cool treating it like your clan claiming more turf.
Re: Like a Dragon: Yakuza Show Won't Have Time for Karaoke, But Singing 'May Come Eventually'

Re: Deals: Sony Goes for the Jugular with Humongous PS5, PSVR2 Discounts in USA
I didn't realize the digital edition slim is more expensive at its regular price than the original digital edition at launch.
Re: Yakuza / Like a Dragon Starter Packs Up on PS Store Now, for New Players Ahead of Amazon TV Show
Good idea, but when most of the older games are regularly on sale for $5, a bundle like this kinda defeats the purpose for me.
Re: Two Years Later, Blizzard Ponders a Return to 6v6 Overwatch
Overwatch Classic battle pass gonna do gangbusters. 6v6, Tracers old victory pose, and 10x the lootboxes
Re: Nobody Wants to Die (PS5) - Film Noir Meets Cyberpunk in This Stylish Detective Thriller
This looks phenomenal. A cyberpunk film noir detective game checks so many boxes for me.

Rebirth for sure. Shout out to Balatro and Infinite Wealth.
Re: CDPR Says Boston-Based Dev Studio Will Make Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel More Authentically American
So less choom, delta, and nova but more rizz, cappin, and sus.....somehow a downgrade if I'm being honest.

@Cutmastavictory oh I did too. Just meant I didn't really get to it until months later.
