We just won't make any games for it outside of that mid Horizon climbing simulator. I rarely regret purchases, but after getting a Quest 3 at launch it's a joke how much better the Quest is.
I honestly don't even understand a lot of the criticism. I haven't beaten it, as I'm in the last bit of the game, but it's probably my GOTY. Story is phenomenal, gameplay is as fun as ever. The fact that they have people complaining about the game either being too short or too much filler makes me think they paced it the perfect length.
....and then of course there's no winning the snowflakes who think a gay background character is somehow "political" (what do these people call games like Metal Gear Solid or Call of Duty?).
I've had one crash due to my PS5 overheating (so not a crash) and one visual bug where I just reloaded a checkpoint. Pretty solid and optimized game for an open world brawler of this scale.
A new model that makes manufacturing cheaper while also raising the consumer price (on the digital edition) isn't in demand for consumers? I'm shocked! Shocked!.....well not that shocked. I'll wait for the PS5 pro and maybe reviews to ensure it doesn't sound like a jet engine like my PS4 pro.
@ShogunRok that's the corporate buzzword I was trying to think of! But I just left it as tail. But exactly what I was thinking. Keeps the game in the zeitgeist for a little longer. More articles written about it post launch etc.
Sony sure loves adding their NG+ modes to their games after launch. Curious if that's by design. Always adds a couple more trophies (for beating on NG+ and probably for beating on the hardest diff). Probably adds a little more tail to a single player game than if was just there at launch.
Launching a "slim" unit that is more expensive than the base seems quite unintuitive. Will wait for a pro reveal and hope that comes with a digital edition.
I enjoyed my time with the campaign, but until they completely overhaul the itemization, I'm going to stick with playing Diablo 2 Resurrected.
Getting small percentile damage bonuses to very situational based gameplay is not rewarding. Also I'm too stupid and lazy to figure out the difference of damage with frost vs damage with cold. Or all the crowd controlling nonsense how there's like 10 different affixes for damage while immobilized, injured, stunned, trapped etc. But hey, sounds like they have fixed resistances 4 months after launch.....maybe.
Came in here to make fun of including whatever the hell Unicorn Overlord is. Googled it, then remembered it was the new Vanillaware game. Damnit that's probably another day one buy from me.
Wait this is only contractors? So they aren't even employees of ND. I work as a manager in Mortgage that utilizes contractors due to the cyclical nature of our industry. The whole point of contractors is to have extra staff at high volume times, and can let them go during low times. As they aren't employees of ND, the thought that they get severance (from ND) is bewildering. These people know what they sign up for. It's a way to get your foot in the door and gain experience in the industry. I had 4 temp positions for instance before my career took off.
Not really that big of deal. The update isn't substantial in nature and is dedicated for their 6th year anniversary which was only playable on Xbox and PC at the time.
Outrage better served for real issues like terrible work conditions from publishers, exploitative microtransactions, and new Peter Parker face models.
Bought this game over the weekend for my 6 year old niece, and just got off the phone with her screaming how great it is. She loves dinosaurs and Stardew Valley. Almost like this game was meant for her.
As bad as I want the Kuro series, I still gotta do a nightmare playthrough through Zero, Azure and Reverie. Plus with all the game releases from now through February. I can wait
I typically don't use settings to make the game easier, but I'm shutting this off. Glad it's an option. Having to avoid fall damage in a spiderman game doesn't sound like fun.
I'm super excited for this. Was hoping for the 2.0 update this week, but I'll wait patiently for next Thursday. Planning on starting a whole new playthrough.
This is still such a steal to get high quality games like.....Saints Row and Generation Zero. Yeah with how big my backlog is I'll probably just let it lapse.
What's sad is outside of FF7 Rebirth, I'd wager Suicide Squad will sell more copies than any of the other games on the list. Yet it still will be a huge financial flop.
@BusyOlf it did. The improved visuals are definitely nice. Also includes the use of the touch controllers instead of the dual sense (so no longer using both hands awkward grabbing object), along with haptics in the headset.
@WaveBoy Funny you say that as I literally just finished Moss 2 moments ago. Absolute masterpiece. Actually spent this past week cleaning up some VR titles I picked up at launch but didn't start or finish. I started Moss 2 at launch but didn't want to be distracted with other games. So restarted it last week and just finished now.
Added this to my wishlist at PSVR2 launch to pick up on a sale (base price is pretty high). I may try this out.
Also I've been enjoying the PSVR2 since launch. Honestly my least favorite game so far was actually Horizon Call of the Mountain. So if Sony supporting the system means more mediocre games like that, I'm good. I'll keep playing third party stuff.
Sea of Stars was one of my most anticipated games going into the year. Getting it for free with PS+ at launch is incredible. Still will probably pick it up on a sale down the line
Tremendous accomplishment. Against all odds Baldurs Gate 3 surpasses...something called Goose Goose Duck apparently. I'm so gleefully ignorant to PC gaming.
Hands down one of the greatest games of all time. Playstation really wants to make game trials a thing. Feels weird to do that for a 7 year old game that's constantly on sale for like $10.

Just off work now and hoping to finish the story by the end of day and clean up the plat before the end of the week

Re: Diablo 4 Season of Blood Is Live on PS5, PS4 After a Slight Delay
Well to be fair, after Blizzard's initial trailer for season 2, we could see that math is not their strong suit.

Re: Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai (PS5) - Bang Average Anime Adaptation Moves at a Snail's Pace
A shame as I had hopes for it, but this game sounds like total strash.

Great news with the radio. Odd the volume changed in the first place. Thought it was just a me problem.

I forgot this even existed. This'll get me to at least add to my wishlist.

Annapurna may legit be my favorite publisher. They only do bangers.
Re: PS Plus Essential Games for October 2023 Announced
Looking forward to Weird West. Find it funny that the 3rd game is usually the one that appeals to me most every month.

Re: PS5, PC Pre-Orders for Helldivers 2 Are Available Now
Pleasant surprise to see it for $40. I loved the first Helldivers, but am disappointed the sequel isn't a top down twin stick shooter any longer.
Re: Forget Venom: Get 19 Inches of Sephiroth in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s PS5 Collector’s Edition
Forget Sephiroth. Gimme 19 inches of Red XIII riding a chocobo.
Re: Nacon's Revolution 5 Pro Controller Promises to Eliminate Stick Drift on PS5, PS4
No stick drift? The left stick drifted so far up and to the left that it's above the dpad.

Are people complaining about the SoP? Huh weird.....let me go off and watch the Rebirth trailer for the tenth time.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Gigantic 2.0 Update Out 21st September, Five Days Before Phantom Liberty
Also was hoping for today. Wanted to start a new character and spend a couple weeks getting them ready for the DLC
Re: 20 PS Plus Extra, Premium Games Coming Next Week
Solid list. Heads up for those wondering what Tails Noir is. It's the game Backbone. That game oddly got a new title a few months back.
Re: Fortnite Boss Donald Mustard Is Stepping Down
They finally caught him in the library with the candlestick.
Re: Three More PS Plus Essential Games Are Available to Download Now
Hmmm why am I playing Baldurs Gate and Sea of Stars when I could be be in Saints Row and Generation Zero instead.

Re: Moss Developer Goes Live Service in Glassbreakers, a Multiplayer VR Title
Moss and Moss 2 are incredible. I want to keep supporting them but I'm not into competitive multiplayer game unfortunately.
Re: Sea of Stars (PS5) - PS Plus Extra's Retro-Inspired RPG Is the Whole Package
@Sequel lol I will.
Re: Sea of Stars (PS5) - PS Plus Extra's Retro-Inspired RPG Is the Whole Package
Been one of my most anticipated games.of the year. At 35 hours doubtful I can finish before Baldurs Gate though.

Re: Red Dead Redemption Out on PS4 This Month, Not a Remaster
@nhSnork I just meant we could play on PS5. Only point of this port so we don't have to dust off our PS3.
Re: Red Dead Redemption Out on PS4 This Month, Not a Remaster
This probably started as a Nintendo switch port. Having it on PS4 so we can play on modern consoles is just a bonus.
Also with all the games releasing from now until early next year I'm quite comfortable waiting for a sale.
Re: Square Enix Bafflingly Backtracks on Final Fantasy 16 Sales, Blames 'Slow' PS5 Adoption
Corpos are never satisfied. Even if they have all the money in the world they would complain about stagnated profits.

Can't wait for this. Both Hospital and Campus are top notch management sims.
Re: Twisted Metal Surpasses All Expectations on Rotten Tomatoes
