Well I've already had two games spoiled for me this year (Hogwarts and Horizon Burning Shores). Hopefully I can navigate the Twitter and comment section minefield more effectively this time around.
Excellent news. With so many titles coming out in the next 3 months it's good to know I can save $30-40 with this game I was already planning on getting day one
@Bez87 I also grew up on theme park (as well as theme hospital and theme park world). I actually never got into Roller Coaster Tycoon so any criticism may have been out of ignorance. My only point was I prefer the games management focus rather than crafting rollercoasters from scratch. Which I've assumed was a higher point of focus in Rollercoaster Tycoon when compared to theme park.
@Bez87 never heard of parkitect. I loved Planet Coaster. Literally platinumed it twice. But definitely required the use of the community downloads cause creating coasters was not my cup of tea.
I still feel like this was a weird early access release for PSVR2. It's hard to put any comparable weight behind their sales numbers when the system is not available on Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target etc. Most normies wouldn't even know it exists.
With knowing how much Square spoils their games, I'm going to skip this. I'm already sold! I still can't believe how much they spoiled in the last FF7R trailer.
Great improvements. Did they confirm speed boosts during battle? I saw the trailer had a fast forward icon, so a nice 3x speed while grinding is a good compromise to those who don't wanna use exp boosts, but also want to save time.
Ad an Android user I rolled my eyes so hard at this ad. Absurd in 2023 we have to use a third party app to use remote play on our phone/cloud streaming devices.
I enjoyed it, but left super disappointed. Level scaling, always online, boring UI. Just so many issues. Will probably just continue playing Diablo 2 Resurrected when I want my Diablo fix.
I chose Resident Evil 5 as I like the idea of remaking games that didn't quite live up to it's potential. Feel those would have more to gain from a remake rather than games that are already classics.
Did they officially take "The" off the title? Noticed other articles (as well as their logo) just call it Lords of the Fallen now. So essentially now the exact same title as the first game?
But on topic, my God everything I see with unreal 5 is just incredible.
@NEStalgia while I don't have specific numbers, and this is just an assumption on my part, I believe it's a safe assumption. We have the PSVR2 game sales charts and it was only #5-6 depending on territory. Also what's jarring is looking at PSN Profiles. While the game owners stat isn't accurate (as it only includes members of the site) it is a useful tool when comparing other games. Moss 1 has 26,000 game owners listed on the site combining NA and EU versions. Moss 2 only has about 700 game owners.
Also I'm aware Moss 1 was eventually given for free in 2021, but I'm confident that number was still much much higher regardless.
I understand that Moss 2 didn't sell well. It's a shame cause Moss is amazing. But hoping to strike lightning in a bottle with a VR multiplayer game seems to be a risky proposal. It's far more likely for that game to fail and servers shut down in a year than that game actually being profitable.
Saw her in the credits and immediately rewinded. Also learned from the podcast that she was one of the nurses in the game as well (along with other various additional voices in the game)
The haptics in the headset can't be understated. I love this game on Oculus and PSVR1 but the first time I felt a bullet whizz by it was a game changer.
I just checked, cause the roomscale thing kept me from buying the game at launch (don't have that large of a play area...also too many games to play anyway lol). The What the Bat Twitter account stated on Feb 21st that the game is now playable in stationary mode and will be updated in the first patch. Guessing that patch hasn't rolled in yet?
I love the trilogy of Owlchemy games. Only have Job Simulator on PSVR but have both Vacation Simulator and Cosmonious High on Quest. Great sandbox type experiences while still guiding the user down a critical path.
Added this to my wishlist over a year ago after watching Arcane. I wanted more League of Legends without having to play the dumpster fire that is League of Legends. Still haven't gone around to it, but having a PS5 version gives me another reason to get to it.
Love Tetris Effect. One of my favorite games last generation. I haven't tried using it with the sense controllers. Tetris without a dpad just sounds awful.
I played the demo of this and thought it was quite fun. Added it to my wishlist. One weird thing I found is it defaults to you needing to hold down the triggers to keep hold of the drum stick while playing. There is an option to switch it to "sticky" but odd it defaults that way. Quick way to give everyone carpal tunnel.
Love that the site is doing reviews on all these minor VR games. I put this game on my wishlist, but the MMO aspect turned me off. Seems like I can pass on this one or wait for a deep sale.
Always sad to see people probably lose their jobs. Hope they keep the art, designs and lighting teams. Say what you will about their games but both FF15 and Forspoken look gorgeous with the outdoor scenery.
This was one of the worst previews I've ever seen of a game. At least games that flopped like Anthem or Avengers, while there was concern heading into the game, neither looked this bad.
The game looks great, but the online only multiplayer aspect of it keeps me from purchasing the game. Where you put a niche title on a niche platform unfortunately I don't see the online sustaining.
My expectations were low but my god was this bad. 8 years for this Suicide Squad game? It looks like Chat GPT created the concept for this game. Literally showing off Battle Pass and Store in the menu of your trailer. There's just no shame anymore.
Another fantastic episode. Amazes me to this day, 10 years after the game came out, and now six episodes in people still don't realize the show/game is about people and their connections. It's not some brainless zombie show. There's plenty of those around.
Much prefer it this way. Also this way they can develop for current gen only. I still find it hard to believe this game will eventually run on the Switch.

Re: Park Beyond Looks Like the PS5 Spiritual Successor to Theme Park You've Been Longing For
Extra salt on the fries and a soda vendor nearby. Hope it's more theme park and less roller coaster tycoon (like planet coaster is).
Re: Site News: Where Is Our Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores PS5 Review?
I had no clue this comes out of tomorrow. Not sure if that says more about me or more about how little Sony has advertised it.

Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 Releasing in September, Massive Ad Campaign Planned
Well if Sony is gonna continue acting like they have no first party exclusives, leave it to the voice actors to do the work.
Tony Todd shouldn't be worried. This franchise isn't known for recasting major characters.
