@MattSilverado FSR and DLSS looked horrible when it first launched, it’s an AI in its early stages and still needs to “learn”.

The poor implementation lies with the devs, Sony 1st party titles as well as games like Stellar Blade, RotR, and Rebirth make excellent use of the pro’s capabilities.

@Slug_full_of_metal no one should have to go through all or have to get a top of the line OLED just to get a game to perform as it should.

I also have an OLED, but setting colour temp to cool? 🤢

I’m glad Astro Bot came out to remind Nintendo how to properly make a fun 3D platformer.

@Enigk Microsoft shouldn’t be concerned by that, there’s no need to restrict what it can be capable of because other gamers choose to limit themselves.

@twitchtvpat they didn’t plan for the scalpers, there should be a scalper factor that’s added to production.

Sony didn’t drop the ball on this, they didn’t even bother picking it up.

Good thing all Sony first party games, and the devs for Stellar Blade, RotR, Lies of P and Rebirth know how to implement the Pro features.

@Enigk nope, I still play PS4 games and unpatched games. But if Microsoft is going to try to entice PS gamers onto their ecosystem, they should implement as many features that PlayStation offers, including PSVR2 and Pro patches.

@nomither6 a quick Google of interactive movies brings up things such as Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, You Vs. wild, Escape The Undertaker, etc. Those are interactive movies.

Dragon’s Lair and Space Ace are also interactive movies, movies which I would like to see make a comeback!

@Enigk why would I want to play a lesser experience? GT7 gave us a Pro patch and PSVR2 support.

I’m allowed to have preferences to my games, if you don’t like it, that’s a you problem.

@Member_the_game which is weird because PC gamers already get better performance and fidelity out of Xbox games than those 3 console gamers do.

@bazchillin Donkey Kong was released by Nintendo before Mario Bros and heavily “borrowed” platforming ideas introduced in Space Panic.

If you’re going to try to give me a history lesson, at least get it right.

@bazchillin I think you mean the impact Space Panic has had on modern gaming being the first platformer of its kind.

If they’re not adding PSVR2 support or a Pro patch, I’m not interested.

@bazchillin by that logic, Nintendo stole the idea of platforming from Space Panic which was released in 1980.

Every platform game that came after, including anything made by Nintendo, is a rip off from a game made by Universal.

Returnal’s a game that Sony-Cali pulled the trigger on, it’s gotta be an interactive movie because of that reason alone, right?

@nomither6 yeah Returnal was SOOOOO heavy on the cinematics, I was like, damn, I had to play for over an hour just to get this 30 second clip which I never got to see again.

What were they thinking with all the cinematics?!

@Max_the_German if you feel there’s too many options, it may be a good time to sell your consoles and leave gaming.

@AverageGamer the music side of Tencent allows their “artists” to steal other peoples’ music and use it as their own, issuing copyright strikes to the original composers.

There’s people who are put off by this because of it being first person and I am one of those people.

I don’t get why this bothers people. First person isn’t for everyone and personally, if I’m playing as Indiana Jones I’d like to see the character. If this bothers you, why? How does them not liking it affect your life?

1st party games that support it never looked better.

I’d like to say the same about all 3rd parties involved but Rebirth not looking like swirling vomit is nice.

@Nekomichu I’m playing it on Pro on performance and it’s beautiful.

@Mostik I wouldn’t waste much time with them, if you check their comment history you’ll see they’re a die-hard on the sister site and all they do is try to troll and provoke people here.

But I’m in the same boat as you. I only started playing this game on the pro and it runs and plays beautifully.
