Hopefully the native ps5 version just needs some optimisation before launch, rather than some massive technical flaw. I’d be surprised if this isn’t fixed in the launch code
As good as these games are, they’ve aged like a fine vintage milk - they seem to have done more than the bare minimum here, although it’s a sad day when Rockstar impresses by doing that, considering what the company used to be.
A few wallpapers to download, some hbo set pics and at most a confirmation that the multiplayer is coming along nicely - I don’t think anything game related has ever been announced on outbreak day (that I can remember anyway)
My dad actually works at CD Projekt Red, he says the next update after this will be a free story expansion called Cyberpunk 2077: Brotherly Love. Can’t wait.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we got more info on the standalone factions game on the last of us day later this month - wouldn’t expect more than a tease or Elder Scrolls 6 style “we have sweet FA to show and we made this in five minutes so you would stop asking about” it” trailer.
As someone who really enjoys cinematic third person action games, and they’re always done really well, more weird ***** needs to come out of PlayStation studios. Imagine if naughty dog just decided to start making survival horror games or Insomniac started doing real time strategy games. I know it’s out of these studios wheelhouses, but games like crash bandicoot, parappa the rapper, wipeout and even metal gear solid would probably just not get made today.
As much as I loved TLOU 2 and how ballsy that story was, pacing wise it’s a bit of mess, so I can see how a more well structured story like Ghost would be nominated. Why Valhalla’s there I have no sodding clue.

Re: The Tomorrow Children Will Return as Developer Q-Games Acquires IP Rights
This was a really weird experiment that didn’t quite pan out; glad they got a second chance. So many devs don’t.
Re: Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 Delayed, Seemingly to 2023
Activision Blizzard, the mega-publisher behind some of gaming's worst sex crimes, has just delayed two key releases.

@jezjezjez I think it means they have a lot of health/ take a long time to kill
Re: Dying Light 2 Developer Admits Game Was Announced Too Early
Fair enough. A rushed game is forever bad and all that
Re: PS5 Stock Issues Lead to Currys PC World Lottery System
Honestly the ps5’s not going to be fully worth it for at least another year, so I guess this could be worse. Still a bloody shambles though

Re: Tom Holland Doesn't Sound Particularly Happy with His Portrayal of Uncharted's Nathan Drake
All signs point to this being a disaster - as a fan of the games I really want to be wrong, though.
