@ShogunRok Great work here, really good explainer for the wider series. Would it be worth mentioning Nayuta as a quick "btw, there's also this but it's unclear where it fits in currently with everything" sorta thing?
@jgrangervikings1 and @GeminiReign, I'm not disparaging the local multiplayer; I'll take that any day over online. But I do think it's a shame the game doesn't have both. I've got friends scattered across the UK I'd love to jump in with, though I appreciate this is an indie team.
@thefourfoldroot1 I'm not a Resi fan tbh, hence it's exclusion here, and I played Red Matter 2 last year on Quest so it wasn't on my mind here. What a great adventure though
I asked them about PSVR 2 when I interviewed them recently. All they said was: "Right now, we're focused on the Quest. You never know what will happen in the future, but we don't have anything to announce on different platforms at the moment."
@Genghis_Schlonng @nepp67 it's nothing to do with being "overly sensitive" or "offended", there's an Ogre in the demo that prioritises attacking women. That's all it is
For the sake of transparency, I received the review code last Wednesday, which I believe is after the patch dropped. So I can't comment on how it played beforehand
@Kidfried A lot of the trophies are tied to the in-game "feats" system, which is often stuff like "unlock x knight," so I'd say it'd be fun going through it. I'd say it's a good list, though I'm admittedly not a massive trophy hunter
@Kidfried Not a problem! I understand the concerns but I genuinely had a lot of fun with it. I didn't play both editions, though honestly, I'd be very surprised if it ran differently on Switch. If it helps, Nintendo Life's review was very positive too
@colonelkilgore I previewed it a while back for another site and honestly, I'd have given it a 6 at best from those impressions. It felt painfully average
I played Persona 3: FES a little while back through the PS3, and absolutely loved it. If I wasn't busy reviewing Ace Attorney right now, I'd consider finally loading up Persona 2
@awp69 Reading through it, this appears to be a straight up mobile port of the main game, as opposed to a new experience like Sideswipe. The documents explicitly say "two new products on the horizon for mobile".
It's probably worth pointing out that Nocturne (Or Lucifer's Call in Europe) is also out digitally on PS3 for £7.99. Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 also. Not on a new console or portable, sure, but I'd argue a lot better value for your money, if you don't mind losing the "merciful" difficulty.
For anyone looking for some RPG classics, SMT: Digital Devil Saga (1 & 2), Persona 3: FES, Vagrant Story and Suikoden 1-4 are all still there. Definitely worth grabbing

@get2sammyb Thanks for letting me handle it, Sammy! Always a pleasure being back on the site
Re: Best Trails Games Ranked: Which Trails Games to Play and Where to Start
@ShogunRok Totally get it, and that's not a bad call with mentioning it from that perspective.
Quick aside, loved your Daybreak review. Waiting for my own to go up in PLAY Mag next month and had similar thoughts.

Re: Preview: Dragon's Dogma 2 Feels Like a Remake of the First Game, in a Good Way
@DrVenture69 hello! Can confirm you will need to wait for stamina to recharge. As for frame rate, everything felt stable in the demo

@Pikachuuuu Difficulty settings weren't mentioned when I played

@Broosh not so much cliffs, more when he keeps chucking people into rivers or through windows
Re: Melee Multiplayer Game Broken Edge Takes a Swing at PSVR2 in September
I reviewed the Quest version last year and I'm very excited to try it out again with the PSVR 2 improvements. Love the finesse involved with gameplay
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Trails into Reverie?
As someone who also got to review it, gotta be consistent with my scoring. I had so much fun with Reverie
Re: Evil West (PS5) - Dumb Vampire Slaying Fun Certainly Doesn't Suck

Re: Trails from Zero on PS4 Is Graphically Inferior to Nintendo Switch, PC Ports
Personally, I'm not so fussed here. It's not the best but I wouldn't call it a dealbreaker necessarily, given how this was originally a PSP game
Re: Hands On: Sonic Frontiers Is a Positive Step Forward That Needs Further Work
@Korgon I've done a preview elsewhere for Evil West and honestly, that might be my favourite game from Gamescom

Re: Astro's Playroom PS5 Dev Team Asobi Staffing Up for its Next Game
@Milt The new PSVR controllers have haptic feedback and several VR games also allow for standard controllers. Could go either way here, tbh

Re: Round Up: Scarlet Nexus Reviews Range from Good to Great

@nessisonett Radical Consoleism
Re: Sony Game MLB The Show 21 Will Be Free on Xbox, Full Price on PS5, PS4
@nessisonett It's time to reclaim PlayStation by abstaining from everything
Re: Sony Game MLB The Show 21 Will Be Free on Xbox, Full Price on PS5, PS4
Part of me wonders if they'll have a "surprise" PS Plus reveal but, factoring in the Play at Home lineup, it seems unlikely
Re: Sony Game MLB The Show 21 Will Be Free on Xbox, Full Price on PS5, PS4
Sony, pal, wat is u doin
Re: Hands On: Maybe Don't Buy Disco Elysium on PS5 at Launch
@LiamCroft Can confirm, I also got my own review copy around 7pm today. Had yet to start, but this is definitely concerning.
