Just think! These people can now fully invest in MS and contribute to the Xbox user engagement now that they don’t have silly jobs to take up their time! Microsoft brilliance!
I was able to get a two controller bundle around launch, and my play times max out around two hours )and that’s a splurge) so I’m good. Great news for those in need though!
@NeonPizza I’ve been reading about the UEVR that lets you turn just about any Unreal Engine game into a VR game. There’s a nice article on it at PushSquare’s sister site Eurogamer.
Avalanche did an excellent job of capturing the essence of the Harry Potter world! I start a quest and end up getting sidetracked by the environment. I just got access to Highwing and I’m almost level 30!
@Netret0120 Once Equifax (one of three credit agencies that pretty much has every single bit of information on anyone capable of applying for credit) got hacked in 2017 all of America had their information stolen. I keep my credit frozen now. The biggest impact would be on international individuals.
Love A24. So many great, off the cuff, movies. Of their latest I want to see Dream Scenario, The Zone of Interest and Civil War. Death Stranding seems like a perfect fit!
It’s like and aged loved one you know is going away, but you have amazing memories with them and hate to see them leave. Sad, but expected…and we all had time to prepare. R.I.P. E3.
Disappointed that Sony’s last E3 was the auditorium tour in 2018. A lot of thought, work and money went into that show, but it was a logistical nightmare moving the audience.
@Nexozi It's hard to say Sony is moving away from single player experiences when they've released so many single player games this generation. What Insomniac has put out along with GoW and Horizon, not to mention the Bethesda and Final Fantasy contracts.
I’m not going to buy it, as I have way too many pinball packs already, but if you’re going M, bring in some 80s “mature” classics. Porky’s. Revenge of the Nerds. Police Academy. Airplane. Those could be fun!
It’s a MMORPG, but Final Fantasy XIV has been an amazing showing for Square Enix. From its disastrous 1.0 launch to the redesign and launch of what it’s become today…and it’s been around since the end of the PS3. The lessons learned from that crash and burn would be priceless.
It’s almost as if they knew they were going to be purchased by Microsoft, so they made a Microsoft level game. $76.5 billion spent for Redfall, Starfield and now this. It’s so…Microsoft.
The Bungie purchase was to lock down a FPS and provide a GaaS resource. Both are failing. This wasn’t an “organic growth” opportunity, it was a short sighted Jim Ryan knee jerk reaction.
Insomniac was organic growth, and they’ve performed beautifully.
I left just as the first progression was coming out. It’d been about a year, starting the trial on PS3 before finding a spot with the PS4 version. The controller difference was game changing. The center pad really helped!
Of all the possible outcomes that we've seen Microsoft have on the table, Activision is probably the best outcome for gamers not invested in Microsoft's all digital future. After reading through the leaks, I'm happy I never invested in the Xbox ecosystem.
I wouldn’t attribute the release of unfinished games as a live service issue. There are plenty of single player games that get released half baked, then get a Day One Patch, with more patches to follow.
I think there’s more pressure to get games to market and the fact that a game can continue to be developed and patched after launch is the root cause.
@LightningLeader It’ll be hard to do an apples to apples. Starfield will be on GamePass, so the sales numbers won’t be equitable, and as it’s “free” for subscribers, the active user count won’t be comparable either.
Eurogamer being Eurogamer have scored BG3 a 4/5, or an 80. Its lowest score yet.
Right now it’s a cross of Midnight Suns and Hogwarts. I went ahead and paid for the deluxe to get it on Saturday when I can actually play a decent amount.
How dare a movie about Gran Turismo and GT Academy mention Sony or have Sony products.
If you were to walk into my house, you’d see a PS5 and PSVR 2 hooked up to a Bravia, along with a PS4 and some random PS decorations. It’s just the way things go.

Only a fool wouldn’t have seen this coming.

Re: Unity Software to Cut 1,800 Jobs in Wake of Runtime Fee Fiasco
Add the 1800 to the 1300 they’ve laid off since June 2022 and that’s a massive workforce reduction over a span of 19 months.
Re: Poll: Which Persona Game Has the Best Opening?
Recency bias (and the only one I’ve played) gives the vote to Persona 5.

Midnight Suns, Hogwarts and Baldur’s Gate. I’m sure Baldur’s will get a lot of early 2024 play.

Sucks, but it doesn’t change my opinion of insomniac or the games they develop. Now bring back Resistance!!!

You’re correct. Naughty Dog doesn’t make bad games. It’s not an Xbox developer.
Re: Do a Barrel Roll in Project Wingman: Frontline 59 on PS5, PSVR2
Only time I almost got sick on the PSVR was doing a barrel roll on the Eve game. It was a literal stomach lurch!
Re: PlayStation's Push for Live Service Games Hasn't Been Going Smoothly
Home was Sony’s best live service “game”. Fat Princess after that. I bought the Pirate/Ninja/Giant add on.
Re: PlayStation's Push for Live Service Games Hasn't Been Going Smoothly
Definitely a bad pivot. Hopefully the new management shifts to the PlayStation of old.

I added this to my wishlist but I didn’t see a PS5 version. Don’t think it would matter much, just a FYI.
