TO MY UNDERSTANDING IT DOESN`T NEED INTERNET - just like Vita and PS4 remote play , when you play near your console ( please , correct me if I`m wrong )!

Can You connect the portal with ps5 without the internet ( just like Vita and PS4 using " internal " wifi ) ?

Nowadays physical almost everytime isn`t physical so who really cares ?
