I've played just over 15 I think and really loving it for the most part. I've had 2 crashes which is frustrating but not seen any other notable glitches or bugs in the game.
Finding it difficult but fun and have yet to beat the 2nd boss (although got pretty close the last couple of attempts), I'm confident I'll do it in the next 2 or 3 tries.
I'd probably say it's between an 8 and a 9 for me at the moment.
Just had my first crash in about 6 hours of total gameplay so far. Frustrating but fortunately I wasn't too far into a run although I was just approaching the boss area
@AgentGuapo I haven't got to that yet, just done the main levels and rolled credits. Now going back through to get the rest of the orbs and collectibles I missed. I've done about half of the trials on their own but I have heard how difficult the Ripsnorter is.
I've had my PS5 a couple of weeks now and really enjoying it so far. Returnal has been excellent in my first few hours of play so I'm gonna be running through that as much as I make time for.
I finished Sackboy yesterday too although there are still plenty of post-game things for me to do so may spend some more time going through that as well.
Sackboy is a really good game. My only real complaint would be that sometimes the movement is a little too slow. It feels like a bit of an added speed boost would make it that bit more enjoyable but it's a really impressive platformer
Nice to see them adding things like this as well for those that want to get even more out of the game
I don't think it's necessarily that Crash 4 didn't sell well (although I wouldn't be surprised at the price point), but it's just COD is on a completely other level to almost every other game series now. It brings in more money than the others so those at the top will turn to it. It's *****, but that's our world
Sounds great. The PS5 lineup is killing it already. Between this, Demon's Souls, Sackboy, Spider-Man, Astro's Playroom and a bunch of other titles, there's already a strong first party lineup on the system.
There are just so many fantastic games on the PS4, even when you go down to the "just about good enough" games there are still tons at that level as well
@Elodin yeah Dreams seems perfect for a PS+ game, especially now that it's had a while to find its feet and become more of a finished product to speak. Put it in the hands of millions of people and who knows what could happen for it.
I don't care for Accolades and most of the other features like that they've added for PS5. I quite like the UI and its layout, but a lot of the things like the Cards and that just aren't for me.
The dust catcher and removable sideplates will be handy in the future I think so while I haven't used that yet (I've only had it a week mind!) I'm sure I will one day
I'm always confused as to why the acting is usually just so bad in games like this. Surely there are competent actors and scriptwriters out that there that would love an opportunity like this??
The screencaps used in this review tell it all. Overly serious acting with a complete lack of emotion or reality to it.
I applaud Wales Interactive's commitment to story-based games of choice, but I feel like work could be done to improve their output.
All the games seem to follow such a similar tone as well. Would be nice for something different
I spent most of those 6 years going "nah, not for me. Not into fantasy stuff, not massively into action RPGs, not into a game being hard for the sake of it" etc etc.
Even after trying it a few times I quickly bounced out after an hour or so of what felt like zero progress.
And then, about 2 years ago, it clicked. What an absolute masterpiece. One of my favourite games of all time.
Hell of a lineup, that! That list alone would make the console worth buying, then when you add in 3rd party stuff it's simply ridiculous how many good games there are.
It's a great line up for PS+ if you haven't already bought the game but yeah, it's very poor given all the mess they made about the next gen upgrade and selling "ultimate" editions etc before it's even out.
It's complete guesswork but I don't think Horizon is coming this year tbh.
The cynical side of me says that delaying games does no harm at all in terms of sales and actually helps give it a marketing boost and publicity via more headlines, increased excitement etc.

Yeah there are definitely things they could improve about it (certainly for the new web version) but I actually quite like the layout on the PS5 tbh

Re: Leaked Document Reveals Xbox's Opinion of The Last of Us 2
That's a pretty bizarre opinion to have. What did they want it to be? Gears of War?
"Luckily for them it fits in with the gameβs theme" - that's just such an odd comment. Luckily??

Re: Poll: Is PlayStation Losing Ground to Xbox?
It's probably been said here but PlayStation already have a decent answer to Game Pass in what they're doing with PS+ and PS Now.
It just needs a lot better marketing, and improved communication on what they're doing.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 371
Well I got another PS5 after passing the one I got at launch onto a friend last year.
Really loving the UI, new controller and Astro's Playroom so far. What a fantastic introduction to the latest PlayStation console.

Re: PS5, PS4 Fans Are Seriously Hyped for This Boxing Game
Yeah looks brilliant. I've been sceptical of this from the start but fair play, this does look like the real deal.
They've got a very solid roster of people signed up to appear in the game as well so it's looking very promising now.

I would not like to hear how much that team cost though

I got one at launch but gave it to a friend as I wasn't too bothered about having it day one.
My plan was to get one around April/May time this year so I'm still hopeful that the stock issues will be sorted by then.
