Atomfall is a game all about experimentation and decision-making — it's the type of experience you'll want to poke and prod just to see how your actions are reacted to. The choices you make have a big impact on the story, so this Atomfall guide will reveal how to get all endings.

How Do You Get All Endings in Atomfall?

Atomfall Endings: How to Get All Endings Guide

There are 6 endings in the game, and all of them are tied to escaping the quarantine zone with a certain character. You'll generally need to follow and complete the Leads tied to those characters in order to get the ending relating to them.

However, due to the way the Leads system works, helping one character can cause you to fail the Leads tied to another character, thus locking you out of that ending. This isn't a case of making a different decision at the end of the game — you must commit to an ending partway in and see it through. Below you will discover how to get all endings in Atomfall.

Note: All 6 endings require you to have full access to The Interchange and the Windscale Plant beyond it. This means you must first find Atomic Batteries to power the place up. Finish this task and then work towards any of the endings.

Back Door Ending: How to Escape with Dr Garrow

To get the Back Door ending, you must help Dr Garrow with her line of Leads and then escape the quarantine zone with her. In order to start her Lead, you'll need to find her locked up in the Prison in Skethermoor.

Here are the steps you need to take to get the Back Door ending:

  • Help Captain Sims in Wyndham Village to gain a pass that'll let you access Dr Garrow's prison cell
  • Find Dr Garrow at the bottom of the Prison in Skethermoor and free her using the Signal Redirector
  • Talk to Dr Garrow in Central Processing inside The Interchange, then collect her notes from her office in Robotics
  • Having given Dr Garrow her notes back, go to the Casterfell Dam Data Store in the northern edge of Casterfell Woods and restore power to it
  • When given the option in the Casterfell Dam Data Store, choose "Run command GEN ERA"
  • Return to Dr Garrow in Central Processing
  • Go to Oberon via the Windscale Plant and reach the Oberon Dig Site and take a sample from the Control Room
  • Go back to Dr Garrow and escape through a secret tunnel to get the Back Door ending

Here are the steps you need to take to get the Emergency Extraction ending:

  • Slatten Dale Keycard: On the very eastern edge of the map, beyond the Outlaw Camp, is the radio tower with the keycard in a cave
  • Casterfell Woods Keycard: To the north of the map is the Boatyard. Opposite it on the other side of the main road through the area is Bunker L9. Go inside to find the keycard. The radio tower is then south of Bunker L9, just off the main road
  • Skethermoor Keycard: On the eastern edge of the map is the Vehicle Storage Bunker, just south of the Greenhouses. Enter to find the keycard, and then the radio tower is south of the Vehicle Storage Bunker
  • When the radio towers are back online, return to Joyce Tanner
  • Go to Oberon via the Windscale Plant and reach the Oberon Dig Site and take a sample from the Control Room. You must then destroy Oberon afterwards

  • If you haven't already rescued her from the Prison in Skethermoor, do so now
