The Last of Us 2: All Weapon Locations and Upgrades

How do you find all Weapon Locations in The Last of Us 2? As you'd expect, you'll need some firepower if you hope to survive Naughty Dog's harsh post-apocalyptic world. Fortunately, both Ellie and Abby have access to a range of firearms, many of which you'll be able to upgrade using spare parts at Workbenches over the course of the campaign. You'll unlock the High Calibre Trophy for collecting all of the weapons, while you'll get the Mechanist Trophy and Arms Master Trophy for fully upgrading one weapon and all weapons respectively. Ellie

There are 6 weapons for Ellie to use, five of which can be upgraded at Workbenches using the spare parts you find around the world. Click the chapter name for a description of the weapon's location.

Semi-Auto Pistol

The Semi-Auto Pistol is one of Ellie's default weapons, available from the beginning of the campaign. You can purchase the following upgrades using spare parts:

• Fire Rate
• Stability
• Recoil
• Capacity

Bolt-Action Rifle

The Bolt-Action Rifle is one of Ellie's default weapons, available from the beginning of the campaign. You can purchase the following upgrades using spare parts:

• Stability
• Capacity
• 6x Scope
• Damage

Revolver

The Revolver is located in a red box during the Packing Up chapter. You can purchase the following upgrades using spare parts:

• Fire Rate
• Stability
• Reload Speed
• Damage

Pump Shotgun

The Pump Shotgun is located in the Westlake Bank vault during the Downtown chapter. For more information on accessing this weapon, refer to the following: The Last of Us 2: How to Open the Westlake Bank Vault Door. You can purchase the following upgrades using spare parts:

• Fire Rate
• Stability
• Capacity

Bow

The Bow is located inside a house towards the tail end of the Hillcrest chapter. You can purchase the following upgrades using spare parts:

• Draw Speed
• Stability
• Rangefinder

Silenced Submachine Gun

The Silenced Submachine Gun is added to your inventory automatically at the beginning of The Resort chapter. It cannot be upgraded.

Abby

There are 6 weapons for Abby to use, five of which can be upgraded at Workbenches using the spare parts you find around the world. Click the chapter name for a description of the weapon's location.

Military Pistol

The Military Pistol is one of Abby's default weapons, available from the beginning of the campaign. You can purchase the following upgrades using spare parts:

• Stability
• Recoil

Semi-Auto Rifle

The Semi-Auto Rifle is one of Abby's default weapons, available from the beginning of the campaign. You can purchase the following upgrades using spare parts:

• Stability
• Capacity
• 4x Scope
• Burst Fire

Hunting Pistol

The Hunting Pistol can be found inside a Safe in the On Foot chapter. It has the following upgrades you can purchase using spare parts:

• Stability
• 4x Scope
• Damage

Double Barrel Shotgun

The Double Barrel Shotgun is located in the Chinatown area of the Hostile Territory chapter. You can purchase the following upgrades using spare parts:

• Stability
• Reload Speed
• Damage

Crossbow

The Crossbow is picked up automatically as part of The Coast chapter. You can purchase the following upgrades using spare parts:

• 4x Scope
• Reload Speed

Flamethrower

The Flamethrower is located next to a corpse, across a balance beam in The Descent chapter. It cannot be upgraded.
