Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for November 2022?

The thing is, the games I like the most there I already have: Skyrim and the Kingdom Hearts franchise. I will check Chorus sometime.

Very much so. I am primarily an RPG gamer and so having access to Kingdom Hearts and Skyrim? Thank you.

Overall I am happy with my subscription. I now have access to more games than I will ever play in my lifetime for the price of less than two games brand new. I think some people are overlooking the pluses just because they are angry that Premium isn't the special retro library they were dreaming of.

Never played the original ratchet and clanks so may give them a go as I enjoyed the remake and Rift Apart.

However I will continuously winge about the lack of The Getaway and The Getaway Black Monday not being on there.

I don't own PS Plus Premium so i don't really care about what they add there but that being said them only adding streaming-only games is absolutely terrible lol

The Ratchet & Clank games alone make it work it for me. Sure, it could be better, but there is only so much time I have for gaming anyway

Own all of the games, so that actually tells me, that it is a good selection, otherwise I wouldn't have bought them. It's a great service for the casual market or those new to playstation or gaming in general. There is such a varied choice. You would never need to buy games if you are new to gaming, with the ps collection and the ps plus. The casuals would not necessarily be buying lots of games.

I think we are all an agreed that Extra is great value, but Premium only good value if you are wanting to stream somewhere else in your home (a minor user case).
I might consider Premium if they add lots of classic PS1,2, and PSP games (with trophies), or if they add the ability to stream all games to my phone using data.

There is nothing particularly interesting for me this month but there are still good games from prior months I haven't gotten to yet so I am still satisfied overall.

It's actually a pretty solid update. Just sadly I own most of them.

I’ve played quite a bit of Onee Chanbara Origins and those broads are barely covered at all. Great game though!

Apart from a few hiccups Chorus is actually pretty great.

I nearly bought Chorvs in sales a couple of times, so it's a win of sorts I suppose.

Doesn't really bother me too much this month. This month is God of war Ragnarok month so probably won't be playing anything else anyways

The premium selection is pretty terrible and I doubt I'll be playing any others from the other tiers. Then again even I'd they had of been good, between God of War and Sonic I probably wouldn't have got round to them anyway

I don't entirely understand the ire toward Premium this month getting a huge dump of Ratchet games. I get Sony's direction is lacking, especially with some games not classics and others are.

As for Extra, most of the games I don't care about. I don't think it's a bad selection, but it's largely stuff I have no interest in ie. Kingdom Hearts. But, I'm really excited about Gardens Between, and frankly, if there's one game a month I play it's still a good overall value for me.

There's a small part of me that thinks I could replay Skyrim, but ugh, I don't want to open that cam of worms. When I played it the first time it was horribly addicting and I was very, very depressed in hindsight.

Not blown away by Extra, and as for Premium, there's only so long I can keep paying for what it could be, rather than what it is.

Out of that extra lineup I own like 9 out of 15 games and the premium games have to be streamed. I am sticking to essential and thanking god I got a PS4 in time to build a proper library of games that could put the other tiers to shame.

This service is great if you are just now buying a system whether it is a PS4 or PS5 but us long time subscribers are kind of disregarded.

I'll play a few of the Extra games so I'm good. And I don't have Premium so the scam does not affect me.

@somnambulance the R&C games (especially the older ones) are actually great fun for adults too as they peppered in lots of clever innuendos and references etc. They're great fun for everyone! Well everyone that can stream them that is :/

I'm not enough of a mug to pay for the "Premium" tier, but if I was I'd be pretty unhappy with it

Why does the results seem so negative? This is an awesome diverse mix for Extra. Yeah, you might have some, but something will be worth a try. I love KH and have them, but I never got Melody of Memory, so that's a chance to give it a go. And I love the Ratchet additions!

Probably will downgrade to the cheap option just for the online play ....not much point having this and gamepass once you have gone through the exclusives

The game streaming additions are utterly worthless. Absolutely no point in bigging them up and putting articles out about them. It's a subpar experience.

Onee Chanbara Origin is pretty good simple fun, even if the story feels pointless

Extra is a bunch of baby games, Ubisoft's least popular franchises, games that were already on Essential, and a couple niche games. Premium on the other hand is a bunch of games from Sony's best franchise. Yeah, it's obvious Premium wins out this month.

Meh, not overly fussed if I'm honest. Too busy with GOW anyway so it doesn't matter.

Got most of the games available anyway. Premium is not delivering the retro games I signed up for and will be dumped for extra as soon as my sub runs out…tbh with GOW 2 and Sonic Frontiers out now I don’t have time for anything else and with Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion next month it will be the same story…it is a good time to be a gamer non?

Easily. I was an Xbox gamer for years so I’ve got a huge PlayStation backlog to deal with still.

However I’d like to see Sony roll out phone streaming via a browser. Now Google’s not a competitor in that space they have a software engineer team they could outsource the whole thing too.

I’d be on that like a shot.

Still not seeing the proper benefit of Premium yet. Extra seems to be the way to go at the moment

If you use the vouchers from ShopTo then a year of Extra costs £70. I will literally not have to spend any money on a game in 2023 beyond that. Fantastic value for someone like me who missed all these titles first time round.

Only couple of titles that interest me this month that I've not played, but can't complain as I think overall Extra has been really good so far.

I just bought kh story so far collection this summer 😢. I might gift it to a friend 🤷🏻‍♂️

Dropped to the basic Plus as Sony aren't really delivering.

Extra is where the value is at, Premium is only £20 more so I will stick with it for now but so far it is a bit rubbish, give us the Resistance games!!!!

Tbh no, I'm not impressed, because the PS1/PS2/PSP game dripfeed is just sad at this point, like, is there any legal issues that Sony has to get through in order for us to be able to play, for example, Cars for the PlayStation Portable (would've suggested one of the NFS games that were on either the PSP or PS2 but that would depend if EA wanted to play ball, right?), on the PlayStation 5 with upressed graphics and just better playability in general? lol

I only have the basic PS+ but I would enjoy having all those Ratchet & Clank games!

Firstly - I’m really never sure why the fact that people own some/a lot/all of the games is relevant to whether it’s a good update or not.

Secondly - is anyone else a bit sick of hearing about how terrible people think premium is? What is it? £20 a year or something extra? I gotta be honest - we might be living in hard times n’all but that barely buys you a round of drinks in your local pub. Debate whether it’s what you want(ed) etc but HONESTLY - it matters little what financial bracket one falls into when it comes the sum of money we are dealing with here. Ok - I get it - you think premium is bs - cool - don’t subscribe/unsubscribe - go spend your £20 on a joint of beef - roast is next Sunday - go the extra mile and have some Tesco finest mustard to go with it - fall asleep a happy person in the late afternoon - done - end of. Cos that’s literally the context of the expenditure which is causing people to bang on and on, using language like ‘scam’ and the rest!

Again with Premium; I'm pretty sure all of those Rachet games were on PS Now. This is so lazy
