Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for October 2024?

Dead island 2 most definitely and I am intrigued by the dark pictures franchise but I've yet to play one and wouldn't know where to start..anybody want to give me a push in the right direction?

I bought the Last Clockwinder on a sale but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. Maybe I'll fire it up out of spite that I paid for it and ended up not having to.

i would start with house of ashes i think its the best one medan is the worst. they are different stories so you dont have to do them in order

Start with Little Hope and come discuss it in push square gameclub! Man of Medan was the first one but was a bit dull. Little Hope is much better.

I'm gonna be playing Dead Island 2 and the Ghostbusters one. I'd normally steer well clear of asymmetrical online games but, come on, it's Ghostbusters!

If I had premium I'd be all over Dino Crisis. 🦖

Monkey island and Dino crisis for me

So Dying Light 2 (when I got it dirt cheap post patches) has been one of my favourite PS5 games which is a surprise.

Is DI2 any good then?

@Northern_munkey You can start anywhere w/ the Dark Pictures stuff. It's an anthology so none of the stories intertwine. Enjoy!

Two classic horror games for Spooktober makes me a happy premium subber.

Maybe Gris. That looks OK. If I didn’t already have it then I’d be pleased with the last clockwinder. No interest in Dead Island 2. Not with the likes of Arizona Sunshine 2 about.

@Northern_munkey I've only played Man of Medan and it was fun. The general consensus seems to be that it's the worst one so I don't think you can go wrong really

Only interested in GRIS this month but it's been on my wishlist for ages so glad I'll get to play it!

Don't have PS+ but i'm excited to replay Dino Crisis, which hopefully it'll be free for anyone who own the PS1 Classic.

Played half these on Gamepass last year. Still to do a few older games that have been put off for a while and I might give the dark pictures game a bash to see what it's like.

Dead Island 2 makes this month good for me and will make my recent continuation of Extra feel worth the cost. I ditched Premium because I prefer to download to play.

It really does seem like a game that would earn Capcom bank and probably even revive the franchise for them. Surprised why they just won't bring this one back despite what seems like massive fan demand. Heck even non fans seen interested. Horror dino game? Why the heck not?

Nothing on that list that particularly jumps out at me. If I'm honest I barely ever play any of them. Could certainly count on one hand the ones I've played in 2024

I only have Extra because it was on sale at the time when I renewed and I got it pretty much for the price of a years Essential subscription so it was a no brainer.... £64 I believe it cost me so it was only an extra £4.

If I can get a similar deal when I need to renew I'd probably do the same again but if not I'm happy to drop to the Essential tier.

Have you played Until Dawn? It's not technically part of the anthology but definitely what started it all and to this day is still better than any of the Dark Picture games

Its hardly worth me stating Im happy, Im always happy with the service! But I am, and this month I'm particularly happy as lots of the titles on offer appeal to me - two point campus was made by some former colleagues, so Im looking foward to that one.
Premium also continues to add titles I want and the premium collection is now a decent pool of titles.

Return to Monkey Island for me. Going back to a point and click will be a nice change up

Dead Island 2 would be good if I had not already played it over a year ago.

Cancelled ages ago. I usually buy games that I want when they are released so it was abit pointless for me. The only thing that would make me sign up would be day one exclusive games

If no one here knows the lineage of Siren, you need to look into it. Japan Studio, Team Silent, Gravity Rush...it's nuts. It's really, really weird and cool. Even if with a guide, you should play it. If a project like this were announced today people would lose their minds.

Im honestly thinking of cancelling my ps plus subscription. There are rarely any games on it which are worth the fee. I don't play online multilayer, so I doubt I will renew.

@Kenobi42 there are loads of games that are worth the fee. It all depends on what type of games you like. I'll admit I don't find every game appealing to me each month but there is usually always something I'll play. If I only get 3 or 4 games a year then it's paid for itself therefore its definitely worth the fee. At least you have the free to play section and there's quite a few good games in there but unfortunately for you most are online multiplayers.

Dino crisis, Dead Island 2 and Ghostbusters spirits unleashed are my favorite games of October 2024 ps plus . Dead Island is my favorite and dino crisis is a classic and Ghostbusters is a fun game

I'm not interested in any of these extra games this month, but ah well, not every month can be great and other people will probably enjoy these.

Just cancelled my ps plus. Been on premium since day one. It's a complete waste of money. Dead island 2 I already own, bought it day one. Siren I played on PS3, none of the rest interest me. Game trials are a joke. If you only play Fortnite online then you need to cancel psplus. You can play Fortnite without it and not only is it a waste of money, it's borderline predatory. The same with all this ps5 pro shiz... "You no-longer have to choose between performance or fidelity..." Please. Sorry Mr Cerny, I am done with your *****.
