It's obviously been available for ages on other platforms, but Vampire Survivors only just released for PS5 and PS4 last week. A highly rated indie hit, we want you to rate this stellar roguelike for yourself, so it can potentially show up on our Best PS5 Games and Best Indie Games on PS5 lists.
For the record, we think it deserves a spot on both. We gushed over the game in our Vampire Survivors PS5 Review, claiming that the dangerously addictive title "should come with a health warning". We concluded: "It’s f*cking brilliant and it costs less than a coffee. Get it fed into your eyeballs fast!" An 'excellent' 9/10, in case you're wondering.
So, give Vampire Survivors a rating in our poll, and then try to stay alive for as long as possible in the comments section below.

Vampire Survivors isn’t the deepest game in the world, but given the rewarding gameplay and insane value it offers, it’s an easy 9.0 for me. Fantastic game. Though a certain Astro Bot will take over my gaming time from tomorrow, I’ve played nothing but VS since it released last week.
I have this on my iPad and it’s very very addictive.
Played the trial and it's so much fun. For 3.60 or however much I paid it was a no-brainer
I had given it a score of 10 out of 10 and wrote it in blood, but I made a mistake and put 9 because my blood's Type O.
A 10. Still don't know why it was given a 9. Don't get me wrong, the reviewers always have their own opinion, but the only con was
"Should come with a health warning".
What?
It's a 10 all day, every day.
The greatest 5 dollar game ever made.
One of the best games in the past few years for only $5. Clearly a 10.
Easily a Shawn Spears perfect 10. I love it.
One of the easiest 10s I’ve ever played
I guess I'm in the minority here, I give it a 5. Even when I found myself getting addicted to it, I let myself die and turned it off so I could play something more meaningful than move a badly drawn sprite around without pressing any buttons other than x to make a selection when levelling up and don't get hit by other badly drawn sprites around a badly drawn field. But you guys do you lol.
It was a 10 for me, but since it crashed 2 times in endless mode, I changed it to a 9.
It's a bit much having it on the big screen for me, this is the perfect way to show off the portal (or steam deck using remote play) gameplay loop is as painfully addictive as it is on the switch.
10/10, absolutely glorious game
The most addictive game I’ve ever played second to Mario 3 and Street Fighter 2
7/10 - it stole too many hours of my life.
Funnily enough I’d rate it higher if it was less addictive.
@NoHope Try crashing it at minute 27. That's when you know you were having a good run!
Despite the crash, 10/10. The game is pure dopamine delivered straight to the veins. The simple gameplay belies how deep it really is, and I love putting my build together at the start of a run then seeing it become totally OP when it works out!
If it released 30 years ago then it would be spoken of in reverent tones. An absolute classic already.
Bought it and all the dlc, gotta support great stuff like this 👍
The fact you get the PS4 version, and the PS5 version, and there are literally hundreds of trophies across a triple trophy list makes this remarkable just for that.
Luckily, those trophies are achieved by playing an excellent game many, many times.
Looks awful, is a single stick shooter with no fire button, so should be worse than beserk in a world of robotrons, but it's actually a fantastic game..
50 hours on Xbox. It's an easy 10.
8/10 it’s addictive for a few days. Then it passes and you kinda forget about it.
I’m loving it, solid 9. It reminds me of the old Amiga/ST days. The drip feed of new stuff, that causes that dopamine squirt. Even the title screen gets more and more added to it. Perfect pick-up-and-play. I did start seeing a screenful of those gems in my head when I closed my eyes, haven’t experienced that persistence of vision in a while. It’s not for everyone, and that’s fine, but at £3.99 for the base game, it’s definitely worth rolling the dice
There's no downside to it. It's an absolute monster of a game. Simple yet it's more entertaining than most modern games.
Considering I can't stop playing, it'd be hard to be less than a 10
10/10
Better than Concord and SW Outlaws for sure and it only cost me 5 bucks with PS+ discount.
The most addictive game I have played in years. Completed it on Xbox and mobile. Happily ploughing through the PS version from the beginning again. Such fun. Does exactly what a video game should do.
It's a 10 for me, no question. I would love a physical, once they stop updating it. This is more a game for my Switch though.
@LN78 a profound waste of time?
@BecauseBecause sounds like you’re in the minority and are in fact hard to please
I found it a little lacking after a few hours. It was fun for that short period of time, but honestly, I'm glad I just got it on my phone. I can only deal with the repetition for so long
The first few rounds were 10/10 fun. Couldn't stop playing. But after a dozen or so rounds after seeing most of the items, I feel like there isn't much diversity in the rounds. Every playthrough feels very samey.
It’s an easy 10/10 for me, super addictive gameplay.
This is the 4th platform I’ve put a load of time into and it just doesn’t get boring.
Immense and fully deserving of a 10/10.
It is a very small game with an awfull graphic design and a concpept from a free mobile game, but for some reason i can't stop playing it, so a 9 seem to be deserved.
You can play with one hand so you are free to do what ever you want with your spare hand. What will you do?
Yup this is how I know not to take this site so seriously. A 10? This game is pure fun for a while and I've been lost in it for hours. I was also lost in games like Mafia 3, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, various fifa games... doesn't make them a 10.
I just don't know how this can be a 10. People are mistaking fun and enjoyment for quality. The game is literally designed to give you casino vibes and feelings so you get hooked. Solid 6-8
I'm a bit iffy about putting a number on things, but I will say that I went from absolutely enamoured to mildly indifferent once I'd maxed out my main character's stats.
It didn't really grab me like it seems to have everyone else. I quickly got to a point where my character was nigh invincible and I just left them stood there as hoards of enemies surrounded me to no avail. My only input was selecting an upgrade every 20 seconds or so, which was at that point reduced to just health or coins. Then when the timer hit about 20 mins, the game just dropped a lich directly on top of me an insta-killed me.
So yeah, I dunno. I see the appeal for quick bursts, I think as a mobile title it's a good format for quick bursts. But the visuals are really ugly and inconsistent and I felt no reason to just keep doing the exact same thing over and over with different characters.
I tried Geometry Survivors too and played that a bit longer (it at least visually appealed to me and enemies felt more varied) but after a while it felt like there was little point to progressing.
Each to their own, but for me it's a 5. It's a solid base, but unappealing visuals and needs something more.
7/10
I enjoyed the game for the first few hours. It really got its hooks in me at first and the time flew by. But it didn't take long for the formula to wear thin for me. To the point where after about 7 or 8 hours, I finally dropped the game and haven't returned to it since.
Am I the only one who's doesn't like this game 😂😭 tried it last year when came to gamepass did one game n uninstalled. If you do like it though if you want more like it there's a tonne of clones come out aswell quite a few came out just in month it came out
