Phew, it's been a much less dramatic week, but still packed with plenty of exciting news. Sony's got a big month coming up, and we've been inundated with updates on Horizon Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7 as a result. Let the good times roll!

I'm really enjoying Destruction AllStars after the update, so I expect to spend a bit more time with that this weekend. The servers are a lot busier on the back of the positive word of mouth, and I hope developer Lucid Games can keep the hype flowing.

I'm still playing Dying Light 2 for review. You can look forward to reading my thoughts next week.

I was intrigued to see if many exclusive games were discussed when reading the comments in Push Square's new Rate Your Favourite PS Vita Games poll. While TxK wasn't mentioned in this community chat, both Killzone: Mercenary and Uncharted: Golden Abyss were well represented, which has inspired me to play portable Killzone this weekend.

Like a lot of folks, I'll be playing Uncharted this weekend. Not the Legacy of Thieves Collection, mind; nope, I'm going right back to the start with Drake's Fortune, baby! It's been a while since I've spent any time with Nate, so I plan on working my way through the series slowly, taking my time with each entry. Given the stacked schedule in February, whether I actually stick with this plan is another story entirely.
That's all from us this weekend, then, but what about you? You know the drill by now: what are you playing this weekend? Let us know in the comments section below.

Playing through Uncharted 3 for the first time. I started back in like August 2021 but played maybe a few chapters every few months. Picked it up again from chapter 8 on Friday, got to chapter 14 before going to bed. Really enjoying it.
With a nice week off and on my long weekend to boot I have plenty of gaming time ahead.
Most of my time has been spent on Far Cry 6 and I doubt that will change.A huge and fun world but so far Far Cry 5 was better.
Been playing a lot of Dirt 5 recently too after d/l from ps plus.
On the Switch front it's Animal Crossing as usual and I did something I never thought I'd do..bought Pokemon Go Eveee. My first ever Pokemon game...yet to start it but kind of excited..
Uncharted 4 on PS5 in between bouts of Terminator Resistance which is an underrated gem.
Just got my Deathloop platinum last night, really glad I decided to give it a go. I’m either going to play a short hike start uncharted 4 or play the frozen wilds ready for forbidden west
2 trophies left to get on deathloop (including an annoying buggy one) which I hope to get before dying light 2 takes over.
Far Cry 6, Skul, Rocket League, Stick Fight, Uncharted 4 multiplayer have been my go to games lately.
Started playing Bugsnax yesterday and what a strange game it is. You have a bunch of cute, cuddly creatures who crave (and eat) other cute creatures… and when they eat them, they become a visible part of their body. As the main character you’re tasked with feeding their addiction. It all seems a bit dark 🤣
Wasn’t sure how I felt about it at first but it’s gradually grown on me to the point where I’m actually enjoying it.
Very odd little game but I appreciate the oddness of it. Wasn’t what I expected at all.
Carrying on with Returnal which is superb ! Hard but astonishing. Got past the 3rd area and its getting a little easier with the upgrades.
A bit of Guity Gear Strive online to continue getting thumped online but I love it all the same
Blitzing Destiny 2 as well to clear quests and get loot in time for the Witch Queen expansion. This game is a stunner on PS5
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk did you have any trouble killing Harriet with gas? I must have tried a dozen combinations so many times
More Monster Hunter Rise on pc, I’m taking my time on this in order to not get burnt out before the dlc comes out so I’m completing all the quests, taking pictures of all the endemic life and am overall just soaking in this game. I usually binge monster hunter but dice I’ve played the switch version I can take my time and am enjoying this a lot more.
Also starting Danganronpa 3, after beating 2 I couldn’t resist buying the third as the story really ramped up and the fact that there is a third gave me so many questions for the story. Happy gaming everyone 😋
@MatthewJP which ones are you missing as a few were buggy for me too
Yeah, I’m spending some time with Nate and Baiken this weekend (not simultaneously)
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk Deathloop really is fantastic isn't it? GOTY last year for me
Deathloop for me. Despite my reservations about the loop mechanic before the game released, i am actually really enjoying it so far. I'd urge anyone who had doubts before the game came out to try it.
I doubt i will have time for anything else, but if i do, i will play some legacy of thieves collection and i am working towards the plat on the wolf among us on my vita
@MatthewJP yeah it took me about 10 attempts the trick is keep her in the cockpit get a headshot first then keep firing at her feet, use trinkets big box hailfire and speed loader
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - it’s pretty good. I never really fancy these immersive sims much… but when I get around to playing them I really quite enjoy them.
@KingPev yeah I really loved it, I’ll be popping back to it now and then as I’ve still got mysteries to solve
@MatthewJP ahh that was mad. I dont know what i was doing wrong - i think there is a trap door in the top right hand corner of the room that i missed which gives you access to where she is - i jumped on the plane cockpit and shot her in the little office thing she was in. I then had to jump through the window with the mine trap to get her slab. Definitely didnt feel like the approach i was meant to take 😅
Just got gamepass ultimate again, got it cheap for 5 month. Playing the heck of halo infinity on pc, man the game is super fun, the difficulty is perfect, it's medium-hard that it's easy to kill enemies, but you can get killed easily if a couple of enemies get a lucky shot.
Also playing nobody save the world on pc, it's made by drinkbox (guacamelee & severed devs), there's no hype at all for this game which is weird since the game is really good. I just download it on a whim because it's on gamepass but the game is really fun, it's just like 2D zelda.
Man gamepass value is something else, not only those 2 games but even great new indie games like death door is in there, and you can play games both on console and pc, even I finally give up and buy xbox series s now lol 😃
On switch its of course Pokémon Legends, I've played around 4 hours so far and it's been a blast, if they can continue with this formula and improve the visuals then the next pokemon games are going to something special.
On playstation 5 I will continue with NEO the world ends with you and some Baldo
On series S I will continue with nier automata if I get time
I am playing Far Cry 6 awesome game (Y)
Made a start on Disco Elysium after finishing Kena. Very interesting rpg. Also playing Legends Arceus, about time we got a decent Pokemon game!
@BritneyfR_ee
Glad to read it's grown on you as I've also started Bugsnax recently, have only put in an hour or two and haven't yet got to a point where I'm enjoying it! Hopefully that will come this with some more game time today.
Also planning on doing a few more runs in Children of Morta (PS4) an indie rogue like with initially intriguing set up, hopefully make a bit of progress and see where it's heading.
Have a good weekend and happy gaming PushSquare fam.
While my wife and kid are finally covid free, ive got the bloody thing since sunday, add to that got to work this saturday from home too...as always, will find an hr or 2 to game somehow 😜:
PC Game Pass
Psychonauts 2
Loving this, the first one had a great story and world but annoying platforming, this one is alot more refined. Plus am a big Double Fine fan, and while the smaller quirky titles theyve made for the last decade are (mostly) great, its awesome to see a AAA title from them again, the first since the failure of Brutal Legend. I find myself just walking around and looking at the brilliant ideas and design put into this.
AI: The Sommium Files
Still moving through this one, not much to add. Its hilariously weird but also gripping. Coming up to the final day so will prob finish this week.
Switch
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Never played a zelda pre-Wind Waker, thought to start at the begining with Zelda 1 but just couldnt get into it, and have heard bad things about 2. Started this one and am hooked, finished the palace and am now in open(ish) world of Hyrule. Crazy to see what a major shadow this game has cast on all games in the genre still to this day.
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk cheers, I'll keep trying. Watched so many YouTube Vids, switched places with her to put her in the gas below, kicked her down the stairs, shot at her feet, can never get the trophy to pop.
Not usually a trophy hunter at all, but I really want this platinum as its a great game.
I’ll be playing Pokémon Legends: Arceus once I finish work.
No neuromods + kill all humans run in Prey. Bought it a couple days ago cause it was on sale for $14.99 and been really enjoying it. Few more trophies for the plat then probably onto finishing HZD.
Trying to finish Bioshock infinite DLC. Must admit I didn’t think the main game was the classic many say it was.
Horizon Zero Dawn. Third time playing and it's still a cracker.
I’m playing Ion Fury which is kind of retro FPS shooter made by the same people who made Duke Nukem. It’s good but a bit long.
Lots and lots of Uncharted.
Pokemon Legends Arceus and a bit of Yu-Gi-OH! Master Duel
Trying to push through Horizon zero dawn. Owned it since launch and never managed to get past about 5 or 6 hours. I wasn't going to bother and just jump in to the new one when its released but i really need to know the plot etc instead of just reading up on it.
Will dabble with the new Pokemon game too. Fell asleep during the intro to it last night 😂
Have a good weekend everyone.
I completed Ghost of Tsushima., really really loved it . Have started on GOT Iki Island , Uncharted Legacy of Thieves and Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart. too much Playstation greatness not enough time.
Still chipping away at AC Odyssey, just started Ep2 of the Legacy DLC. Really enjoying the new abilities and I think Kassandra has finally replaced Ezio as my favourite AC protagonist and Odyssey just might have become my favourite AC game. Have a good weekend all!
Monster Hunter Rise (PC) in some really important ways it trounces World, it feels much more streamlined and user friendly. My goal is to hit HR100 and then I'm moving on to a rapid replay of Horizon Zero Dawn even though I plan on doing Elden Ring first.
Completed Cyberpunk 2077 at 126hrs. What a lovely game overall. Played as Street, can't wait to start another playthrough as Corporate or the other one. Been playing HZD too, I'll be taking down that Rockbreaker in the Frozen Wilds. Then more of GT Sport and some AC Odyssey.
@ThorsHammer AI: Somnium Files took me by surprise with how gripping it was, I cannot wait for the sequel this Summer!
@TheArt What ending did you get? I think the Aldecaldos ending for the Street Kid origin is perfect.
Enjoying the wonderful visuals in Kena. Scratching my head at some the puzzles in Kena. Buying cute hats for the Rot in Kena. Getting frustrated with boss battles in Kena. Playing with the speed dash in Kena. Trying not to put the difficulty down to Easy in Kena.
So, Kena basically.
😉
Enjoy your weekend, folks!
A spot of Uncharted Legacy Collection, a bit of freestyling on Fuser and Deep Rock Galactic. If anyone wants to add me to make up some helpful, solid teams then just use the SAMTYLER1974 tag and I’ll happily rock and stone to the bone!
After a terrible work week, I will be hiding myself away playing Skyrim and heading back into Yakuza like a dragon for the ultimate comfort.
Eternal Radiance. It’s a 3-D action RPG. I’m having a good time with it so far.
@ApostateMage Well I didn't go with Johnny and Rogue, neither Panam. Went with Hanako's and ended up being made immortal or something like Saburo on the Arasaka spaceship. I see there's a whole lot of pathways in this game, maybe reason why the main campaign is quite short so you can experience them all.
Hopping between titles while waiting for the three big releases coming up. I'll finish the COD Vanguard campaign tomorrow and maybe start Ghost of Tsushima or Uncharted Lost Legacy.
Yo, Ollie I started ND Collection too x) need to replay ALL the games!
But will also play League, Pokemon and R6 Extraction!
Have a nice weekend all!
God of war.horizon complete edition.shadow warrior 2.nioh 2 with all the dlcs.and divinity original sin enhanced edition.watching michigan basketball today.watching whats happening marathon.good times.sanford and sons. Saved by the bell.martin.watch the movie escape room 2.word up son
Ecco the dolphin on x360
Borderlands 3 on ps4
Metroid Dread on switch
Super Mario Galaxy on wii
Completed Mass Effect during the week, such a good game, going to start Mass Effect 2. Downloaded PS5 Star Wars Fallen Order to auto pop trophies, but realised save file in cloud storage was missing, Ghost of Tsunami safe file was also missing, safe files of games I played before and after were there, not sure what has happened. Guess I now have extra incentive to reply Star Wars Fallen Order.
PGA 2K21, the maybe jump in on the £10 Uncharted bargain that downloaded last night. Also got the first Dying Light ready to go, to see why it got itself a sequel
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on Nintendo Switch Online
Uncharted 4, Guardians of the Galaxy, Chorvs, and Tomb Raider on PS5
Forza Horizon 5, Doom Eternal, Golf With Friends and Unpacking on Xbox Series X
I am absolutely spoiled for choice and loving this generation. Game on one and all and happy weekend!
The final fantasy 7 remake for me. But to be honest I’m really just killing time until Dying Light 2 comes out next week.
"Horizon Zero Dawn". Probably the biggest u-turn in my reception of a game in my whole life. Wanted to rush through it before "Forbidden West" comes out. But now I'm taking my time and enjoying every minute of it.
No new ones yet. Gonna follow with Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Hades (wich I already got the ending), Valkyria Chronicles, Kingdoms of Amalur and Wolfestein The New Order. i am circling between these 5 games, when I finish one, I add another to the cicle.
@colonelkilgore this game is absorbing. When we have mods that allows exploration, the world opens and every nook and crany holds secrets. I spent hours just exploring the streets, breaking into apartments. Great game!!
Mostly just going to continue AC Valhalla. I'm very surprised how much it's clicked with me considering how much i really disliked Odyssey. It feels like the first one of the new era ACs that remembered its supposed to be an AC game at heart while still implementing the RPG mechanics. Anyway I'd like to at least finish the base main quest before Horizon 2 as two different open world games at the same time would probably get a little redundant. I'll also continue to chip away at Trails in the Sky 3.
Have a good one everyone!
@freddquadros yeah it’s a lot of fun… and different from fare. Seems to be getting better the more that I play too.
Laid up with Covid so I'll be putting some time into Final Fantasy VII Remake. Trying to get as far as I can before I have to return to work.
Yooka Laylee 2 — outstanding game!
I platinumed Dark Souls Remastered yesterday and have since finished 2 speedruns of Dark Souls Remastered in around 40 mins each (because I love the game so much).
Tonight and Sunday I'm planning on playing Uncharted 4 (PS5)
I’ll hop back on Guilty Gear Strive.
I've been playing san andreas on definitive edition. The original was such an amazing game, that game is still in there and I have only had one bug so far, which is not really a big deal. I still can't help but feel that rockstar did this classic real dirty. Having said that, I just can't help but dig the nostalgia waves it's triggering for me. Have a great weekend folks
I'll try a couple of jrpgs in my backlog like Digimon (hackers memory) and maybe Nino Kuni 2 and perhaps even go back to FF14. Im avoiding action RPGs to avoid burnout when Elden ring and Horizon FW launch.
Popped the plat for tlou2 last night, on to Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart.
Been playing through Ghost Runner the last few days from Ps Now. Having a great time with it.Its definetly challenging in parts but its scratching that "one more go" itch similar to Celeste.
Mass Effect Legendary edition, busy with ME2 before Horizon Forbidden West releases 😎
Snowed in the rest of the weekend so going to be finishing ghost of Tsushima and binge watching Gomorrah on HBO Max
I picked up Arceus for my gf so I could play Ghost of Tsushima in peace. Lol. I'll also be getting my online fix through Halo Infinite as usual. It's gonna be a good weekend!
I will be playing a bit of Forza Horizon 5 and Nobody Saves The World. Amazing game, love it.
On Tuesday though, I will be playing ps5 Uncharted 4. I will be doing a 6hr stream for a charity called Sands, who support families who have lost a baby. Its the first of 4 I have planned. Week 2 will be 6hrs of Doom Classic ( with graphics mod and Deathless campaign), week 3 will be 6hrs of Command and Conquer Red Alert ( again playing a Community made campaign), and week 4 will be Horizon Forbidden West. My Twitch is mrtucknorris85 and thr link to the fundraiser will be at the top of the page.
I’m finishing up Guardians of the Galaxy before moving onto a certain Legacy of Thieves Collection this weekend. I finished Uncharted 4 on PS4, which, other than Golden Abyss on Vita, was my first foray into the series on console, but I’ve never played The Lost Legacy and I’m really looking forward to finally getting around to it on PS5. At a silky 60FPS no less!
Reached stage 9 on arcade in Guilty Gear Strive. Now all I have to do is beat it for the platinum but I really do hate that man. I've came close and beat him in one round so It's just a case of keeping at it.
Have a good weekend everyone!
Almost finished Kena, when Uncharted arrived 1 day early. So I will spend some time with Uncharted 4 this weekend, already arrived in Chapter 7 an oh boy, this looks so good on PS5.
And I will also grab my DSi XL a bit.
Finishing the platinum for Yoku’s Island Express and cleaning up platinums for Psychonauts 2 and Unsighted before Dying Light 2 next weekend.
LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER PS4
Finishing lost in random, it's a very enjoyable game, don't know what to play afterwards though.
@NeThZOR much respect ....sounds impossible for someone of my skills ha ha
Demon's Souls, well into NG+ now. That, and watching my wife play Assassin's Creed Valhalla, which is a lot easier than playing it all the way through. Massive game
Deep into playing Odyssey for the first time and on a PS5. I can’t compare to playing it on the PS4 but playing on PS5 at 60FPS with little to no load times has been a joy. Graphically speaking the world is pretty stunning and I must say I’m really enjoying myself. I was hoping by the time I finish Odyssey that Techland would release the 60FPS patch for Dying Light so I could experience that game for the first time at optimal settings and if I liked it, I would pick up DL2… But looks like that’s most likely not going to happen so I will take my time with Odyssey and be ready for Horizon Forbidden West to roll out in a few weeks!
@Reyren yeah that's right
Well I finished the platinum for Guardians of the Galaxy a couple of days ago, and started Disco Elysium several times yesterday. This feels like a game I'm going to restart several times, but at least for now I'm going to see how far I can get with my Sociable Communist. That's probably my weekend.
I've still not got that deep into P5S, which I don't seem to be getting on with as well as the main game, so that's probably going to continue gathering dust this weekend.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (3DS) - Finally coming back to start Episode 3.
Mahjong by Microsoft (Android) - Finally nearing all my gold medals needed for the achievement.
Ridiculous Marathon (Windows Phone) - Fun little endless runner to kill time with.
Finishing up the story in Lost Judgment this weekend after spending almost 3 weeks of focusing on the never ending side content in this game. After that I haven't a clue what to play next, so much but don't know what I fancy. Maybe something on the smaller scale.
1. Darmon X Machina. FREE on PC from Epic Store
2. Finishing up side stuff in Chorus
3. Finally starting Sherlock Holmes
Yooka Laylee on epic, not even ashamed to admit.
Finished Far Cry 6 last night, at around 60 hours (did exploring and side stuff + campaign + did not touch DLCs). Aside from dabbling in New Dawn, it’s my first full Far Cry game. I thought it was amazing and it’s now one of my all time favorite games. Story was compelling, funny and dark (usually in the same few minutes), gameplay was fun and bombastic, graphics were lush, and characters were all well done. There is a whole end game mode and the DLCs, so I’ll still keep playing, although may take a breather after leading the revolution.
Feeling like some looting/shooting so I may jump back into Borderlands 3 and/or Outriders this weekend, or maybe do the Tiny Tina mini-game.
Don’t want to start another big game, as I plan on diving into Horizon Forbidden West when it arrives in a couple of weeks. I have done my best to avoid articles, screenshots about it. Have not watched any video of the game either. Excited to dive in fresh.
I'm playing the Uncharted remaster. Oddly enough, I imported my PS4 save file and while I have both platinums for PS4, only some of the trophies popped for both 4 and LL... not all of them. Luckily, the hard ones did automatically generate.
I finally decided to restart Days Gone on PS5. I really didn’t like this game when I first tried it on PS4. But man this time with the PS5 patch running at 60fps, I totally get it now and I’m completely sucked in. It’s the exact kind of slow going open word exploration I’m looking for right now I guess. I’m also still working my way through Miles Morales. I can’t play that one for long stints. It only hold my attention for a couple of mission then I have to move on. But it is a great game. I’ll eventually get though it. Man does it look good on PS5. Have a great weekend!
Arceus all the way. First excellent game of the year. Type of game that reminds me why I love gaming and it’s absolutely blowing away my expectations after such a middling experience playing Shining Pearl.
After finishing Dark Souls 3 last weekend (twice) I’ve moved back in time to DS1 Remastered. I’ve beaten it once but I usually end up getting to Blighttown and giving up. That will probably happen again this time.
@Sorteddan I really enjoyed Children of Morta, and I think more people should play it. Everyone praises Hades for adding narrative elements/story progression to rogue like (and it deserves it!), but Morta does the same thing very well and no one talks about it.
Have fun!
I am playing Spiritfarer. I have not been this charmed by a game in a long time.
Me and my youngest son played together for a few hours just this morning, building up our boat and helping our friends. The game can be sad, but it is also delightful.
@Mintie thats great you enjoyed too, caught it randomly as it was easy to stream on my phone with touch controllers via game pass...the result is its made me really get into visual novels. Cant wait to check out more titles after i finish - Danganronpa 1 just surprised dropped on GP last week, so will probably do that next. I'm curious how your playthrough was? I'm currently close to the Iris path ending...which way did you choose?
Deep Rock Galactic. Have been having a blast with friends on this co-op.
For Karl
Pretty much a PlayStation weekend; the Switch is collecting dust. I’m working towards the platinum on Ghost of Tsushima (first plat I’ve ever actually went for; wish me luck) and I also decided to try and force my way through God of War. I’ve tried playing through it twice (both times back when I had my PS4) but I got burned out on it. So maybe third times the charm eh?
That said, once Forbidden West releases my PS5 will be dedicated solely to that for a long time.
Pumpkin Jack platinum this weekend. Great little platformer that feels at home with MediEvil. Then off to Valhalla and Disco Elysium to see the hype. Just killing time till Sifu and Elden Ring.
Demon’s Souls … just took down Maneater. Whew, that was a tough one. Still really impressed with this game though. Hard to believe it was a PS3 game and the very first Souls game, because the game design is exquisite.
@ThorsHammer I got all four (I think it was four) to get the final ending... I think the only achievement I'm missing is one for the collectables.
Still chipping away at ac:valhalla (or is it chipping away at me?)
I just bought far cry 6 and yakuza for ps5, so u am kinda torn bettween them both, but probably far cry 6
Nothing yet but planning to return to Ghost of Tsushima. I've been loving the heck out of the game.
Finally finished my epic Dark Souls 2 SotFS playthrough. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it became a bit of a slog towards the end - screw you, Frigid Outskirts.
Have now started Disco Elysium, which I'm finding absolutely fascinating. It's really reminding me of the Magnetic Scrolls text adventure games I played as a teenager (any other old codgers remember them?!). Really looking forward to delving deeper into the story. I didn't even roll my eyes at the opening amnesia plotline, simply because when it comes to videogames, amnesia is actually a very effective and immersive plot device.
I'm really enjoying Circuit Superstars. It's freaking awesome! Great handling model with tire & fuel wear making you think when is the best time to do pitstop. I also bought Far Cry 6 from sale last week and I'm suprised how much I like playing it. Since I have finished 3, Platinumed 4 & 5 I Thought I'd be worn out of it's formula by now. But the gunplay and some cars (specially that one that has parachute turning it to flying gyro"thing") are putting smile in my face. Oh and finally you can change the button settings and tune your stick sensitivity in FC game! Uncharted can wait 'till I finish and maybe plat this one.
But yeah, Circuit Superstars this weekend. Pure fun! Don't let the "kiddy" looks fool you, this is more like Art of Rally track version.
Playing through Fallout 4 GOTY years after getting it. Hey better late than never lol.
Also happy to survive the blizzard with minimal aches after shoveling! Have fun!
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt ...
huge game....
I started the Dark Pictures Anthology games with Men of Medan. Finished the game in couple of hours and started it again, just to get some more trophies. Not a great game, it would've been if it was on a PS3. I am really thinking about DIABLO 2 and 3....
@Anti-Matter hmmm LEGO, not Barbie? Something is wrong here ...
@eM1x029
My Barbie games (12 Dancing Princess PS2 & Princess of Island Wii) are already finished.
They are very short games.
