Topic: Back Button Attachment issue

I bought my BBA today and was getting to grips with it, till I noticed a problem that as far as I'm aware, no reviewer brought up. It seems to cancel out the audio from wireless headsets (including Sony's own) due to it using the DS4's headphone jack, which is a problem because I'd rather not have a cable pugging into my DS4.

Not true on my end. Using the attachment and Sony's gold headset and everything works just as it should.

@redd214 Really, that's odd. My PS4 wasn't recognizing my gold headset till I took the Back button off. Then it seemed to work fine.

@AdamNovice It could be something to with your settings on how your ps4 is handling sound going to your headset. Try tweaking them to see if they fix the issue or if @redd214 could post what his are, then you can copy them.

@JohnnyShoulder nothing special really just "All Audio" to headphones in the quick menu. Also check the volume level of the headphones @AdamNovice.

@AdamNovice

Go to settings>devices>Audio devices>output device> (change to your headset)

I've found another bug within 20 minutes of owning mine in that if you're using a wireless headset and your remote is about to die. Unless you turn the remote off before removing the BBA it will change the settings above to tv audio and would need to be reset each time. A major inconvenience if you're in the middle of a game.
